the whole addon managing/install etc is done from the Kodi menu, this is not possible through Chorus
so you need access to the Kodi screen (maybe VNC is a solution here) that you can actually add/remove etc addons

gosh, sry had a brain bug and forgot half of the sentence
Put SD card at your RPi3, drop the LE RPi4 image to your update folder and also add an .nocompat file (empty file is enough) at this folder then restart. After successful update you use the RPi4 image at RPi3 -> switch cards and everything !should! be okay.
can you update to the lastest LE 9.1.002 (Beta`ish) ? maybe this fixes it already
afaik you can update (while SD at your RPi) to the RPi4 image, then change the SD
Backups are your friend
This requires that appropriate space is available in /storage/.kodi/addons
LibreELEC.tv/chrome-downloader at master · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub
maybe add something like that?
so I could have missed something obvious
you can also use LE 9.1.002 + DVB Latest drivers, there it should work too
hmm I am not aware that particualr devices are not supported, maybe crazycat has an idea
You likely need an crestron (no idea what this actually is) clients/server at LE that this might work. Never heard of it so likely there is no solution around.
When does legitimate observation become SPAM ?
after repeating know issues x times, just because there is a new version out doesn't mean everything is working
Incomplete test versions.
This is a developement thread and not an "here is my finished product" thread. This version is under HEAVY development in dependency of a lot upstream projects (kernel, video drivers, ....) where a lot ppl are involved (directly or indirect) so don't expect an stable release here.
did you activated SSH access at the LE-Settings Addon ?
You can also have a look at the ssh-web addon at our repo, there you can http://ip-of-your-device:port access ssh.
tx I adjust the description
we are intentionally don't tell anyone about .tar files anymore because img.gz does the same for LE, OE can't handle that so nothing happens
Is the same distro meant for both the RPi2 en the RPi3/3+ or do I have the wrong distro?
no that is correct, the RPi2 image works for 2,3.3+ because there is not much difference at the hardware
I can not see docker in servers add on.
addons are currently broken for AML, this should be fixed in near future
LibreELEC (Leia) 9.1.002 ALPHA
^^^ 9.1.002
LibreELEC (Leia) 9.2 ALPHA1
^^^ 9.1.001
yea a bit meh name wise, i fix it
we have also an release list at the wiki if you are unsure Releases [LibreELEC.wiki]
maybe you should have a look here ?h=montage-3103b.v2
this is likely upstreamd from Brad and if you have some patch he is likely helpful in getting it upstream too
This is his gh repo, just open an issue if you have questions/patches for the driver Issues · b-rad-NDi/Ubuntu-media-tree-kernel-builder · GitHub
