I was going to try another nightly in a week or two to see if it was fixed?
it is likely just fixed due a kernel bump with a fix included, we can't predict when the fix arrives nor have we one currently (as far as i know)
but testing from time to time is likely the only way to know
pls do the following
1. unplug the dvb device from your RPi
2. start the RPi
3. attatch dvb again (to get a clean log)
4. go into shh and type dmesg | paste
5. share the resulting url here

IPTV with TV-Headend Server on LE10 is sluggish (continuity errors) and the Server takes aaaages to start, but hey, it‘s Alpha

that sounds very strange
with LE 10 hyperion (ambilight) does not run (wrong processor???).
not sure what kind of hardware you are using
hyperion does not work for Raspberry, Allwinner etc because Hyperion does not support the new video playback standard at linux
for generic (pc, htpc ...) it should just work
can you post the tvheadend log ? (from memory /storage/.kodi/addons/user_data/service.tvheadend42/service.log )
the firmware folder is /storage/.config/firmware/

Downgrade is not supported because it creates a lot problems.
I guess a backup is not there so best chance is to update again to LE10.

they could also pr nessesary changes to us for example for a addon or similar
but afaik the whole magic is some bash and simple python2 script so it is likely broken because it just works with the EOL python2
workaround: convert all videos to mkv (no reencoding needed) and put the subs to the mkv, there are also tool that doing that automatically

this has absolutely nothing todo with Tvheadend
So no positive change in my case but many additional and serious issues with Tvheadend 4.3 Alpha
can you try to lower your ram usage ?
