There is no Repo for 8.0 at the moment - they should be added soon.

will this build of LibreELEC work with nvidia cards like the OpenELEC-Nvidia_Legacy.x86_64-6.0.1-tbs-1.6.tarYes, in Generic is now these old Nvidia drivers included.
-
Thanks for your info and your work!It is highly possible that Digital Devices drop out of support for OpenELEC and LibreELEC.
You could have a look at my Image with addition dvb drivers - I have a look if I could support the drivers there.Sadly it looks like that Digital Devices didn't care about an proper Linux support
-
ah okay so its most likely that it is an Tvh problem - I post you an imx build later what maybe fix this
-
"LibreELEC Tvh-addon v4.1.1928 ...."
btw from where did you have this "testbuild" or did you use the adddon from the repo ? -
could you give me the version of the testbuild ? (click on about)
also the ab6115 is needed -
could you place the dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw to
/storage/.config/firmware/ (create the firmware folder if not there)
and do a reboot then test again ? (also pls again an dmesg log and an tvh log) -
in shell:
dmesg > /storage/logfiles/dmesg.txtthis would create an dmesg.txt at you log directory - pls upload
Btw the 292e, Edison and the TT 4400 are nearly the same sticks
-
Code
[ INFO] linuxdvb: adapter added /dev/dvb/adapter1 [ INFO] linuxdvb: adapter 1 setting exlusive flag [ INFO] linuxdvb: adapter added /dev/dvb/adapter0 [ INFO] linuxdvb: adapter 0 setting exlusive flag
Sounds like that the dvb stick gets found - could you make an screenshot from the adapter configuration menu (in Tvh 4.2)?
Btw which card do you use ? could you pls upload also the /storage/logfiles/some.zip ? -
could you be a bit more specific where ?
LibreELEC.tv/config.txt at master · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub this ?
-
/storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.tvheadend42/service.log
and the latest log from here /storage/logfiles/
-
yea there is nothing real working for 5990 - but TBS said this should change soon™
-
Could you provide an logfile (from Logs folder at the networkshare of your device - pls have a look at the date that you got the correct one)?
I can't rule out that 4.2 has at some parts problems - but spoken general it is working very well.
I got an user saying that his TechnoTrend CT2-4400 has stopped working after upgrading from 7.0.100 -> 7.0.101 ... but nothing obvious has been changed. -
Is there any chance the Rpi build will support the TBS5590?Are you sure that it is a TBS 5590? Because the TBS website doesn't know this card.

At this point I can login via Microsoft edge, first time, but if I use chrome, it takes 4 attempts.I had this wired caching issue too, to fix this just wait 1-2 weeks or clean cache
-
as it still runs
Code2016-04-21 08:22:13.503 [ INFO] spawn: Executing "/storage/.kodi/addons/service.multimedia.tvheadend/bin/tv_grab_file"
tvh "old" is still installed
(but this should be no problem)
The log looks okay and didn't complain about anything, the user is also right. Could you ensure that you try to log in with the correct user/pw and NOT with the username/pw autofill from your webbrowser !? Also pls set an password (1234 ....) maybe Tvh has some problem with no pw login. -
Do you plan to also support Raspberry Pi2 for LibreElec 7.0 with this great way to change drivers? At the moment a lot stuff is hardcoded (it is a bit effort to build an RPi image because I have to change a lot) - I was a bit in time problems due the release date of LE.
So I wanted at first let you try something and find possible bugs and if its stable port it to RPi. Later I do the code better that it can easily ported to every platform
