There is no support from allwinner or powervr side, so no proper drivers or docs are available. Also there is no allwinner support for Kodi if I recall correctly.
This failed with the error "size check failed".
you upgraded from OE 4 or 5 to 6 and now to 7 -> this is not supported (the boot partition is too small and won't get resized)
but then the screen went blank and stayed that way apart from the odd fraction of a second flash of something that looked like a dialogue box
could you make a picture from it (with smartphone ...)? I have no idea what this could be.
Any ideas people? Someone gets this error before?
could you post the tvheadend.log ? /storage/userdata/service.tvheadend42/somename.log (I think you use Tvh 4.2 - if not pls update)
Your dmesg looks fine by the way.
Hey has anyone gotten wake-on-lan working in this image.
this shouldn't be a problem with my image because there is nopthing touched what makes WOL work
I dont know if this driver is going to be added to the 4.6 kernel?!
Try media_build - if it is not there I can't help (I update soon to get the latest drivers)
I see some other people had this issue a few weeks ago, and you were able to help be providing a different version of tvh 4.2.
Tvheadend 4.1.1920-1943 was broken - currently we have 4.1.1945 in our repo (autoupdate) that should fix this.
afaik pipe dosn't work because we have no ffmpeg package - also for 99% there is no usecase for this
You can use IPTV Automatich network to do this kind of pipe (+transcoding) - but idk if this work.
Is there a way to move just the recordings across?
try to just copy the recordings folder
Userdata\addon_data\service.tvheadend42\dvr\
http://linuxtv.org/downloads/drivers...LATEST.tar.bz2 This is a complete package Dw2102.c joined the patch You check it thanks
Try the media_build option -> this driver should be already in !
Is there an easy way to move my settings from tvh 4.0 to 4.2?
Rename the folder and start Tvh4.2 then MAYBE it works - a direct upgrade is not granted - it fails for a lot ppl also it works for a lot ppl
install and deactivate Tvh4.2 (Tvh 4.0 uninstall or deactivate)
rename Userdata\addon_data\service.multimedia.tvheadend to
Userdata\addon_data\service.tvheadend42
activate Tvh4.2 - maybe it works
is there much advantage in changing
YES, don't let you fool you due the version number. It is more like an 0.1 -> 2.0 update. Timeshift for examble is now useable the first time ever
Btw a clean new copnfiguration would be better because the configs are converted to the new much faster format.
Btw you can play with the "delay start of tvh" setting at the tvh-addon settings.
didn't even compile - some random stuff
Meanwhile - for 7.0 Generic and RPi2
Dropbox - Link not found
I think there is no solution for the S662 at least I didn't find anything. I contacted Tevii a year back and they said that some driver is released soon. Nothing happens, typical Tevii support. If you find something what is not liplianin I can include it.
Then addons.xml was not updated.
neither it was uploaded
Dropping the table would break it because the table will not be recreated.
- dropping the data from the addon table would work - but you have to reactivate your addons (make backups)
- search for old entries *openelec.tv and remove them would also work
- or translate this into mysql
sqlite3 $ADDONSDB "DELETE FROM addon WHERE id IN (SELECT idAddon FROM addonlinkrepo a JOIN repo b ON (a.idRepo = b.id) WHERE b.addonID in (repository.openelec.tv))"
sqlite3 $ADDONSDB "DELETE FROM addonextra WHERE id IN (SELECT idAddon FROM addonlinkrepo a JOIN repo b ON (a.idRepo = b.id) WHERE b.addonID in (repository.openelec.tv))"
sqlite3 $ADDONSDB "DELETE FROM dependencies WHERE id IN (SELECT idAddon FROM addonlinkrepo a JOIN repo b ON (a.idRepo = b.id) WHERE b.addonID in (repository.openelec.tv))"
sqlite3 $ADDONSDB "DELETE FROM addonlinkrepo WHERE idRepo in (SELECT id FROM repo WHERE addonID IN (repository.openelec.tv))"
sqlite3 $ADDONSDB "DELETE FROM repo WHERE addonID IN (repository.openelec.tv)"
okay
first info I got was wrong
second info I got was wrong ...
so everything I told you was also wrong
Addons should be updated today (at least this was told me).
I tried it several times, but it seems that the reception it not stable even with the custon server as described.
This is a Kodi problem and is hopefully finally fixed at Kodi 17.
You can increase your odds if you enable "wait for network" at the LibreELEC Settings Addon.
Any news on this issue?
The addon was reuploaded and is fixed - BUT - due the Kodi caching you need to remove /storage/.kodi/addons/packages/pvr-dvblink... and reinstall.
Now if I can just get the folks at tvheadend to pass through the complete category list instead of matching the DVB string - I'll be much happier!
did you opened an ticket at the Tvh issue tracker ?
It is little bit confused, there is actually functionality on the almost every tab to set up view to Expert but i could not to find right one to get CAs tab.
is it a bit confusing, go to settings -> general -> there is a viewlevel for the whole tvheadend -> the ca tab only pops up if expert is used (I open a ticket at Tvh - current situation isn't that nice)
but i am not sure if there is implemented transcoding
There is no transcoding for RPi, all ARM powered devices didn't have enough cpu power to do this.
BTW I can not see in tvheadend (Web interface) tab for CAs settings for setting up communication between oscam and tvheadend.
You need to change the viewlevel in Tvheadend from advanced to expert.
Am I correct with the assumption that I have to use the media_build drivers?
just update to my 7.0.0 images and they should work (nothing to setup at the addon)
now you have choosen media_build you need to remove the dvb-driver.txt from your download folder and reboot - then you have the normale kernel drivers (where the patch is in)
