just for sanity check, could you disable vdr (backend, vdr.vnsi ...) and install Tvheadend 4.2 and after that have a look if the adaptor appear in the webui ? (your-box-ip:9981)
and pls a full dmesg | paste
After install vdr (services and tv clients) and restart play2 ecerything stop and freeze on bootscreen .
this could only happen if the dvb driver crash (i think) - I have no WP2 so no experience

This can't be included, if the patch isn't somewhere in the kernel atm there is nothing i can do.
If you get this dvb device you could give me a dmesg | paste maybe we just need to add some ids or something.
it looks like script.config.vdr is missing, could you check that you have "VDR Configuration" installed from the Libreelec repository ?

Time shift at the RPi is a bit dangerous, you can set it to /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.tvheadend42/cache/timeshift
Everything besides Tvh 4.1 (4.2) is useless to use btw, Kodi 17 (LE Alpha 7.90.xxx) is also necessary to have a working timeshift.
BUT pls remember, timeshift could easily kill your SD card in the RPi due the huge amount of data that gets written to the card.
yes this is a known issue, we already aware of this, tvh was not build with support for CA module due build problems

upps i forgot to say that i had to remove the NVIDIA drivers because they don't build for the RC of Kernel 4.9 (if 4.9 is official is released there are new nvidia drivers that work)

yes as soon kernel 4.9 is stable
The path is right, VDR can only use SRP Picons while Tvh can also handle SNP Picons.
VDR uses the same path and if you like to use srp picons just extract them into picons/vdr.
If the picons downloader addon is finished you have just to click download

then it is most likely an settings error at Tvh, could you try if it works with VDR ? (to ensure that the driver is not the problem) ?
