I added 4 build to the Index of /Test/failed-patch/ directory
would be nice if you could test the (v2) builds
I am not sure if the applied patch mess it up or a missing patch or a slight rebase error.
Pls report if 1 or 2 or more are working
(hopefully not zero)

hard to tell, depends on the used TV
my rather cheap LG does a better job then Kodi so I just use 1920x1080 in Kodi and let my TV do the rest.
You can adjust the tv settings, some "enhancers" options create a artificial look.

Will you provide builds for rpi with gpu encoding support?
yes currently trying to get it working (that it at least compiles) - can't say anything about if it works at all for the rpi (besides compiling) - need to test

I have tried the kernel downgrade versions as well but results were the same
could you recheck if you update to a 4.9 version that the continuity errors start again and stop again if you upgrade to the 4.8 version ?

I guess you use LE 8.1 ?
If so the "better" upscalers are still there if you try to scale SD -> TV.
They are disabled if you try to upscale HD -> TV because they are basically not working correctly (lack of GPU performance).

Sorry forgot about this thread
- you can use LE 8.1 (beta of LE 8.2) there is the patch included.
If this works it would be nice if you could report back

pls try
systemctl stop service.tvheadend42
rmmod dvb_usb_rtl28xxu
rmmod rtl2832
rmmod dvb_usb_v2
rmmod dvb_core
wait some sec
modprobe dvb_usb_v2
modprobe rtl2832
modprobe dvb_usb_rtl28xxu
systemctl start service.tvheadend42
not sure why it won't unload it automatically
you have to reboot between every test to have an clean environment
you can add modprobe dvb_core before the loading or maybe drop it at the unload

There is no way the odroid gets transcoding done due the limited cpu power
yesterday gpu accelerated gpu encoding for Intel/AMD and RPi was merged - but this broke the builds ;D

this could work - depending which box it is [HOWTO + FAQ] Install community builds on S905/S905X/S912 device
WeTek Hub with 1gb is no problem, Kodi and LE has currently no use for 1gb ram.
