there is nothing planned for a future version 8.2.6
No, there is nothing planed for the old stable - developement has shifted over two years ago to LE9 - due the VERY long dev phase of Kodi 18 we are late with an new release but nobody of us had touched 8.2 for ages. If you need something more recent use an LE9 pre Alpha/Alpha build (run "completely" at LE9 since an year).

Does anyone have release dates, concerning LibreELEC version with at least one FFMPEG 3.4 ?
our current LE9 has already ffmpeg-4.0.2, ffmpeg-tools support AV1

There is no proper Linux support for the SoC so even we would like to support this !OLD! chip we couldn't.

But can't tell you something substantial.

It was fixed by going incognito.

I think it would be a good idea if you added a command for updating to the latest beta
I basically didn't wanted to make it as simple as possible to prevent ppl to use cron or put it into autostart.sh and such crap as this is 100% unstable and every Emby update could kill the function. It works now - no idea if it works tomorrow - if they change major thing it breaks (thats why there is no gui button)

I would like to test the latest beta release of Emby Server (3.6.0.2
try my update script
ssh into LE
wget -O /storage/.kodi/addons/service.emby/bin/emby-update http://ix.io/1i4E
reboot
then emby-update is available
