Okay I'll try it again. I did not get any wireless option come up at all. I have rebooted many times.
-
I'd like to contribute a solution from s905's build thread, for those who can't get the above hack to work, even if they did everything right:LibreELEC post #161
Please could You post the autostart.sh file? I'm sure I have everything right but still can't get wifi after I execute the script.

I'm also trying to figure this out.

Hmm..where is CR/LF?... Everything seems to be in one line... Also check for spaces before and after lines...
Sent from my GM 5 Plus d using Tapatalk
What is LF/CF?
All I did was copy and paste the code into notepad++
Do I have to have 4 spaces before each of the 3 lines? Here's a screenshot Screenshot 2016-11-14 07.52.49.png?dl=1

I must be a bit thick. Please help me.
I still can't get wifi on Beelink MIII II s905xI created a autostart.sh file and put it in the /storage/.config/ folder.
Rebooted.
Logged in as root using putty
executed chmod ugo+x /storage/.config/autostart.sh
rebooted
Still no wifi.
If i can run some commands for diagnostics please let me know. Also if anyone has successfully got wifi work please could they post a how to?here is a link to the autostart.sh file ( could someone maybe confirm that the file format is correct
Dropbox - Link not foundThe file has the following code:
Codeinsmod /lib/modules/qca9377-aml/compat.ko mount -o bind /lib/modules/qca9377-aml/cfg80211.ko /lib/modules/3.14.29/kernel/net/wireless/cfg80211.ko mount -o bind /lib/modules/qca9377-aml/wlan.ko /lib/modules/3.14.29/kernel/drivers/amlogic/wifi/bcmdhd/dhd.ko
Notepad++ is fine, it handles CR/LF fine.
To run the chmod command (once), you have to login via SSH (root / libreelec).

Okay awesome. Thanks I'll try that when I get home and report back.

Did you create the file using a Windows editor, with the Samba share ?
If so, can you login with a SSH client, and issue a "dos2unix /storage/.config/autostart.sh" ?
I'm not sure I follow you.
I created the file on Windows notepad++
I then copied it to the storage/.Configs folder using a usb.I then rebooted.

Did you execute
chmod ugo+x ./autostart.shDo I execute this command via ssh?
Do I have to do this every time I restart? -
Im having the exact same problem. I created the autostart.sh file. With file ending in .sh NOT .txt or .py and placed it in the .configs folder. rebooted and cant see my wifi. Any help is appreciated.
I need help with enabling wifi chip on my Beelink Mini mxIII II...I read above that some of you have been successful, but I myself can't get it to work...I installed the latest LE build from the first post that is supposed to have some experimental Aigale support, I created autostart.sh in Configfiles via samba (also did ssh to confirm, Configfiles seems to be the same directory as .config), pasted the lines from the first post, rebooted, but wifi and bluetooth are still unavailable...can anyone please give some quick step-by-step? Also I understand that I don't need any specific device tree files for s905x, right?
Thanks

What should be the proper location of the Autostart.sh for Beelink MIII II s905x?
-
With the autostart.sh file do I have to create one or add to one.
I have the Beelink s905x. I'm doing the wifi mod.
Does it go into the .Configs folder?

kodiuser1 Internal system partition is not mounted in LE as there is no use of it. You found remote.conf in /tmp because my script copies it there for key remapping. To mount system partition you need to execute:
and then you can look for remote.conf:&kszaq would that remote.conf file have been the original from Android side then?
If so no need to look any further.

Hi Guys,Quick question.
I can's seem to find my Android remote file in system/etc, in fact I don't seem to have a system folder in LibreELEC. Please could you tell me where to find it? I did find a remote.conf file in the temp folder.
Also where is that pesky autostart.sh file living>

Hello guys and thank you for this amazing build.I have a MINI M8S II 2GB and i just upgraded from 008 build to 009 but i have no sound at all in my TV either to my home cinema!
Can you help me?
The reason i made the update was to fix the ''return'' button in the remote control and it was fixed but i lost my sound.
Thank you
You must update the device tree also.

Is there any truth in this? I don't see how it's possible to brick your box. You are only sending a reboot command.

I installed this version on Nexbox A95X everything working great for now but still testing. Have one question, about power off/power on on remote control which is not working. Can anyone help with that. I saw one time something about changing keymap but can't find it now.You could try my remote.conf file a few posts back? It's for a NEXBOX A5
