awiouy: Indeed, what we are looking at are Python Modules and scripts. The point is, that to install them manually I need various dependencies, as the Hardware is connected via I2C and has a Firmware to be uploaded, and these dependencies are missing. The manufacturer offers a Debian Packet (.deb) te be installed, where all dependencies and scripts are installed automagically.
No, The software is all low level. It has a script that should cut the power after being shut down and set certain parameters on the hat, to intercept the push of the ON button again and thus powering the device up. This piece of hardware is a kind of an ATX power supply for the PI with the difference that it has a battery onboard to act as a kind of UPS.
This is their Github page, and the packets are available here.

Hi everybody,
I've been using Libreelec for quite some time now in various installations. I am a very happy user!
I bought the new PiJuice to resolve my power issues on my RPi3 which I have installed on my boat (12V system).
The thing is that I am unable to install the packet provided by the manufacturer to use the hat to it's full extend. Is there any way this could be provided as an added like TVHeadend or similar? I'd install it myself, but as I don't have any apt-get not dpkg available I don't know how...
Maybe it's possible even to install it myself manually , but there are various dependencies I don't know how to get from.
Help is appreciated!
Best regards
