Would you say this is acceptable or is there another model you'd recommend?
You can try one of those Ethernet adapters:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNWR4H6Z
- Sometimes it's enough to keep the antenna away from RPi.
- The internal WiFi adapter maybe avoids driver problems.
- You can get extra power by external USB PSU.

Yes, I'm using an argon case.
Please try again without that case.

What do i miss?
Try the same on remote.xml with remote tag instead of keyboard.

RPi is also ARM. All HDMI settings belong to cmdline.txt now, not config.txt. So append vc4.force_hotplug=1 at the end of the line of cmdline.txt.

Try to find a headless Linux for 32 bit. Then install MPD, which is the gold standard for Linux audio streaming.

You're at the right place, and just alone with your issue.

No hardware whitelists, sorry. This is a brand new post, which might helps:
ThreadWifi Adapter that Works for Raspberry Pi 4 LibreELEC 12.0.2
Hi all, just wanted to post here because of a solution I found for an issue I was having. I'm currently running libreELEC 12.0.2 off an RPI 4 wirelessly (because running an ethernet cable to the rpi is not possible) and I kept having the error "invalid key" which I found through searching the forums was the wifi dropping out. I tried moving my router closer with little success and it became a constant problem whenever I was watching anything. This is partly due to the RPI 4 having kind of iffy…machuniJuly 29, 2025 at 7:31 PM -

Da Flex Thanks! Building this Pi3 version just became more important to me as I realized that LibreELEC on Pi4 plays videos ~7% too fast when using composite.
Try display latency settings at advancedsettings.xml to slow it down.

Now I'm trying to do the same for a Pi3, but LibreELEC is still targeting old arm architecture while Lakka is on aarch64.
RPi3 is still 32 bit. 64 bit starts with RPi4.
Do I have to build Pi3 aarch64 LibreELEC myself?
Yes.

Maybe one of those Ethernet-to-WiFi adapters helps:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B4X7F6PB
Then you will only use the Ethernet driver on any RPi software.
-
If you don't have time, install RPi OS on another microSD. In case of unexpected crashes on RPi OS, use your warranty.
