Stupid question: can I hide the debug display at the top left of the debug?
Yes you can. Use log level 1 or 2 at advancedsettings.xml. Then disable debug mode at GUI, and reboot.

Please provide a log when using LE 11.0.4. Then we have a chance to find the bug in our software.
My use case is pretty simple, basically I want to stream to a TV video content stored on a NAS.
Use the touchscreen of your smartphone or tablet. Search for "Kodi" in your app store, and you'll find RC apps.
using Handbrake to rip the ISO to file/files normally always works out quicker
That was also your suggestion when I came here. ![]()
If I own the real thing, then I don't want to make copies. MP3s for my mobile player are the only exceptions.
arcasys You should already declare UDF when you mount the DVD:
See post #5.
The best case for pi4 is the argon one V1/V2, on/off power management, and for the remote i use for year rii mini keyboard, far better than a simple remote control
Then you was lucky
. We have many reports about bad soldering points in Argon One cases. Rule of thumb: Try to avoid any additional circuit board inside of a case. Such boards increase the risk of contact / soldering issues.
If the fan only has two wires, then it's just an on/off fan. If it has at least three, then fan speed control is possible.
I assume Raspberry Pi OS has instructions for the official RPi5 case. So search on RPi OS forum first. If you find something, come back and post a link. Usually we can adapt it for LE.
I was asking a dev for help. Stay tuned...
LE developers don't add patches to FFMPEG. So the patch from post #7 has to be submitted to FFMPEG folks directly:
Feb 16 19:10:58.491752 LibreELEC systemd[1]: Starting network-base.service...
Feb 16 19:10:58.571792 MobileKodi systemd[1]: Finished network-base.service.
Feb 16 19:10:58.572201 MobileKodi systemd[1]: systemd-timesyncd.service was skipped because of an unmet condition check (ConditionPathExists=/dev/.kernel_ipconfig).
Add a couple of seconds at "wait for network" (LE network settings).
yamcenutzer It has a soft on / off, you just have to connect a button to GPIO. I agree with the tiny connectors. A real developer board would have sturdy, full-size connectors. I'm using two RPi, one as a NAS, and one as a streaming box on a non-smart TV (LE). Both run very stable.
sky42 On my Kubuntu login screen I had the option to start an X11 or Wayland session. Since installing Kodi I also have a Kodi session available. Maybe one of those three sessions makes HDR possible.
I'm using JACK for audio output on Kubuntu (musician setup). Installing "ubuntustudio-audio" package pretty much did all the JACK setup. Anybody, who wants do advanced audio routing on Linux, should use JACK. It's made for that task. I never did audio PT with it, but in theory JACK should be the solution.
A dev just said to me, pastekodi -c >myname.log is the better approach, because it contains more useful data.
Thx. I don't think it's related to the kernel error from post #1. Looks like a network error to me:
2024-01-05 00:05:35.843 T:990 warning <general>: OutputPicture - timeout waiting for buffer
2024-01-05 00:05:35.912 T:883 debug <general>: ActiveAE::SyncStream - average error 0.290755, last average error: 530.673348
To rule out network errors, play the same movies directly from USB (thumb drive).
The log file is short, because log level is 0. Set it to 1 or 2 by creating an advancedsettings.xml file. Log is only needed, if LE 11.0.4 doesn't fix it.
PS:
2024-01-04 20:52:48.375 T:734 info <general>: Disabled debug logging due to GUI setting. Level -1.
I haven't seen log level -1 before. That's not legit. ![]()
