It's only available in SD quality due to DRM protection. Go to the Kodi forum to ask the add-on developer for future plans.

Thanks for the infos! Current theory: The setup wizard tries to write to microSD while navigating, but there are no writing rights. Use Etcher, which is what I've been used for the same image.

You can use advancedsettings.xml to activate log level 2. Create that file directly on microSD by using a PC. After black screen, read kodi.log the same way. Copy it into PasteBin and post the link.
If you are using an Argon One case, remove that case for testing. Some Argon One users had weird issues due to badly soldered pins: Click!

Also with the "LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20211010-4ec2af6.img.gz" my Raspi 4 does not boot.
The start.elf is found (see attachment), then comes the coloured square and then a black screen. That was it.
Please open a new thread for this, because your original issue is different. Make sure you are using an HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 cable (especially if you have a 4K TV connected). Try to login by SSH when black screen appears, and post a link to a kodi.log.

My other Raspi 4 runs the Nightly libreelec.
Same issue on that nightly LE?

P.S.
ping forum admin:
why is "hea-lth-y" normally written a "censored word" ?
I had some discussions about this, see Website and Forum Feedback.

Seems like CEC adapter starts fine:

I tried to boot the Raspi 4 with ""LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20211006-9fefbf7.img.gz" and "LibreELEC-RPi4.arm-11.0-nightly-20211008-8696f6d.img.gz" which did not work.the raspi only boots up to the coloured boot screen.then the screen stays black.
Did you do a fresh installation for those images? Otherwise it could be related to the KodiNerds repo, which eventually breaks the update.

Yes, you can use terminal commands with CRON.

Try a different HDMI cable. It has to have HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 standard to be able to handle 4K data rate.
-
Search for other picture optimization modes (beside overscan), and switch them off. It's a common issue on many TV's /monitors.
-
LE has no volume control for single channels, like the center speaker, where voices usually come from. So you have to find other ways (AVR or TV settings) to increase center speaker volume.

Sorry, no official recommendation. We don't have a white list for good reasons (terrible manufacturer support).

Please provide a full debug log.How to post a log (wiki)1. Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging2. Restart Kodi3. Replicate the problem4. Generate a log URL (do not post/upload logs to the forum)
use "Settings > LibreELEC > System > Paste system logs" or run "pastekodi" over SSH, then post the URL link -
Thanks for testing. If CEC is activated on your TV, then it could be a bug. See here.
