It seems like BIOS AND Windows (!) graphics driver write some firmware, which will be used by LE: Click! So update both.

It means not to use that driver.

Probably an add-on issue, which has to be fixed by the developer. Ask at Kodi forums. That's where most add-on devs are.

HiassofT is the audio guru, and he is in holidays. If you want to do something, do a research about your hardware, and which Linux driver is needed for HDMI. To "blacklist" your current driver could be the right path.

Is there anything that works well with LE. I am concerned as some external dacs require specalist drivers, or an asio driver, as they are usually designed to work on a windows or mac pc, a driver that LE may not have and may hinder performance.
Standard ASIO works fine with LE. I've tested my Behringer UMC22 on RPi3B+. Connect your speakers balanced for best quality. If you also want to make music, consider to invest more to get an audio interface with bonus software (DAW, plugins etc.).
-
Which speaker setup do you want to connect (Stereo, Atmos etc.)?
-
I found the issue.
On LE when I run ethtool eth0 it shows its only running at 100mb and not 1000mb. While on Pi OS its running at GB speeds.
Thx. We will check this.

Thanks. Do you know of a good guide or example of compiling a custom image with a unique driver?
-
Looks like they currently work on this. I gave HiassofT a ping, so stay tuned.

perhaps ill try and reinstall in the mean time
Use the latest nightly build. Maybe you're lucky, and it's already fixed there: https://test.libreelec.tv/11.0/Generic/Generic/

The log looks good to me. You can upload more logs without problems, but there is currently no need.
Maybe the wrong Linux driver was loaded:
Eventually other users have "blacklisted" that driver to load the right one. I'm no kernel expert, I don't know.
Our audio guru just went into holidays. It could take a while to answer this.

There are streaming interruptions:

Thx. I see network errors. Copy a critical video to USB stick, and play from there.

Can you try with DRM Prime decoder disabled? I'm asking, because we have a similar issue for video here: Click!
-
I see. So you play 1080p with HD audio?
You can also play around with the amount of audio output channels in LE's settings. Sometimes 2 channels are required.
If this doesn't work, we should dig deeper with a log file.

Ive noticed that when the audio doesnt play, the refresh rate change happens a few seconds after the video starts. It should do this right at the beginning. Not sure if this gives any clues.
This could indicate a bottle neck in data transmission. A slow cable is often the issue. So check the HDMI standard of your cable. It should be conform to HDMI 2.0 or 2.1 to handle video AND high speed audio.

The smallest increments of adjustment is 10, it doesn't go any lower than that. I have it set to 10 but it is still too much.
You'll set the sum of volume steps, so increase that value.
