ok 5schatten now i know somethisng not really Right, Willy beamish the WHDLoad i get the "Boot-install" screen *something patch failed", the screen fades to black and ifi turn on status bar i can see CPU/HDD is looping (boot loop)
is the Update .img complete to where i could use it to flash to a test mSD? or do i need a spefic vers of LibreElec then update that way ? as best case scenario my Configs w/ Amiberry are somehow Broken/corrupt. worst case? i gotta recopy all my roms back over from a fresh -re-install on it.
-
curious as i want to nail a small potential problem on my end for amiga from the start, espically since now that im getting to it (got tied up all of uyesterday an dmost of today) 5schatten kickstart roms,
or
and yes its from my own legal copy of Amiga Forever 7 R2

Beta 05a (RPi only) is uploading:
- updated to latest LE9.0 upstream
- updated amiberry to latest version
- completely reworked the amiberry start script
- added amiberry support for WHDLoad (.lha) & Interchangeable Preservation Format (.ipf) -> delete your es_systems.cfg before you update
- added support for .uae config files -> copy /storage/.config/amiberry/conf/amiberry-default.uae to /storage/roms/amiga & adjust it to your needs (dont forget the floppies & add the path to your game files!)
- changed Kickstart folder to /storage/roms/bios/Kickstarts so remove the old symlink rm /storage/.config/amiberry/kickstarts & move your kickstart roms to the Kickstartssubfolder before you update
- added workaround for libretro-mame2003-plus -> added libretro-database to scrape games
i haveto scoot for Family problems (i nee dto be a stand-in caretaker for my elderly grandma,) from 2 to 6 EST, so this will be a nice thing to dive right into when i get home! gonna have fun w/ The Adventures of Willy Beamish :3

I had no time to really have a deeper look on it. I found some stuff in RetroPie scripts and I plan to add this feature if possible but that will take some time
much appreciated, for now its to the tedium of floppy swapping. but might want to note on the first page WHLoad atm doesnt work/isnt supported for now.

5schatten anyluck cracking the WHLoad bit for Amiberry? cause that'd make games like Adventures of willy Beamish and Beneath a Steel Sky so much more manageable due to being 10+ Floppy disk image games.

5schatten yeeeep, the issue of "No playback after updating" was on my own derp, i ha dto update my netflix payment. (brother pays it , we share the account since we live in the same house) and he had to get a new debit card from his bank aftre he got Skimmed last month .. i had completly forgotten to update it w/ the new card! XD
still cant figureout how to get Amiberry WHLoad games working still, after adding it to the file types it launches but games fail to load.

Well... looks like you have your ALSA device disabled. Check out your config.txt
Raspberry Pi Config.txt [LibreELEC.wiki]
and make sure it looks like this file LibreELEC.tv/config.txt at libreelec-9.0-rr · 5schatten/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub and this line has to be in your config.txt
This is crucial for the ALSA device otherwise it's not available.
that fixed it. now thats left is this widevine update mess, supposedly theres an experimental fix in the milhouse testbuilds.

ok i deleted the .cfg's before updating
updated to beta 04a,
but retroarch outside a Kodi-addon still gets no sound tested over HDMI & Analog
output of aplay -L
"null
Discard all samples (playback) or generate zero samples (capture)"
retroarch.cfg:

5schatten sorry for not getting back sooner i just got home yesterday (i stayed longer at a friends place than expectedas i wanted to monitor his well-being as he had a few ER Visits while i was there, ) given i just woke up, i'd try what you suggested a page back but i see theres a new update, was the issue fixed or you want me to test before updating?
-
i'm not at home (staying at a friends house while waiting out dangerous heat as i have no AC, ) but i updated to beta 3b lastnight and something's wrong with Retroarch launched within Kodi, i'm not getting sound on any Core, i tested w/ a RetroPlayer addon to make sure its not an overall Issue and i got sound just fine.
since its in a small "Retro Cave" of sorts , its connected to a crt-tv over analog out. if that makes a lick o difference (i wont be home till Wednesday night.)

5schatten sorry for not getting back to you the weekend was rough enough running anything for too long would redline my Pi3 to the "Overheat" Overlay showing on-screen.
atm now its just crashing back to Kodi from RetroArch but from Emulationstation it's working.
for WHDLoad, lha files do launch into Amiberry but dont properly load thier games,
-
i havent yet figured out the Black screen problem w/ Emulationstation/RetroArch Dosbox but i do have the question for Amiberry, how can i get it to see WHDLoad archives? as from the looks of it you have it all setup for WHDLoad support but Emulationstation will not recognize it in teh gamelists any .lha's
-
If you mean Amiberry then provide log files. Anyway I don't use retroplayer so I can't give any support in this particular case.
http://ix.io/1imp Kodi's log (if it shows anything from RetroPlayer (disabling P-UAE seems atleast to for now let Amiberry startup in its place) Dosbox is another mystery to fixgure out, as for Crashlogs from RetroArch where would they be located?
-
The 3+ was connected to 5GHz Wifi? Otherwise the Wifi will interfer BT audio anyway.
yea, atm im facing something odd w/ UAE in Libretro, and dosbox (Kodi game launcher/ Emulation station) dosbox and UAE in libretro Just cause an instant exit to Kodi, from Emulation station or within Kodi, Black screen.
