I'm having problems with a kodi 19 LE fork. Many add-ons not working I guess due to python issues. Could I drop a lower version LE into the update folder and downgrade?

I unzipped the add on and dropped into storage/.kodi/addons, rebooted LE 8.25 but nothing. Permission is 755. What am I missing?

I put HD18Q" build on a sd card (using the LE sd creator) but when I attempt to boot from it my MXQ box displays the LE logo & hangs with the message - can't access tty; job control turned off. Any ideas?
