It only works on LE 9.0 images. Update.
Thanks. Tried a 9.0 S905 beta, fresh install, too unstable to even have the time to try addons
Will wait

Hi guys,
I have a netflix subscription and would like to install the netflix kodinerds addon to watch netflix on my S905 box.
Thing is, I'm stuck when trying to install the addon with a dependency error for script.module.pycrytptodome
Same problem on 8.2.4 and 8.2.5
I wonder if there's a workaround or if there's a working addon somewhere.
Thanks for any help
Hi, I'm experimenting with the test build and I have no usb audio with it.
I can select the usb output in the settings, did try many other tweaks but no luck.
Works fine with 8.2.3.1
Thanks for all the efforts
I'm sorry, I do not understand cyrillic/russian region languages
Hi guys.
I have a S905 clone with lastest Kzaq build.
I just need to download the gz in the update directory and reboot and it works or do I need a dtb and other preparations ?
Thanks !
Ok, so no more builds for now except that probable 8.2.3 update.
Thanks for your work on these builds up to now and thank you for your contribution to the amlogic realm.
And there's hope for a 9.x version from you... right?
And I advise you use another SD card or usb drive to test a fresh install and keep your stable system out of risks.
I will not provide any updates to these builds as I don't have resources (disk, CPU and time) to maintain Krypton and work on Leia at the same time.
Thanks for the update, so I'll wait for your leia builds.
Many thanks for your hard work!
The [Discontinued] info is because Kszaq stopped working on the project? or is it because that branch is stopped or just a mistake?
Solution :
the problem seems to be with the img mount.
So I used the tar file, from another comp on the network I unpacked the 4 files in the target subfolder and put them in the libreelec update folder.
Thanks a lot for helping others with the same problem....
Hi, tried latest version. tvheadend not working, not possible to update.
I then wanted to revert to kzaq's or previous version, but I then get an error
failed to mount /dev/loop0 on /storage/.update/.tmp/mnt invalid argument
is there a way out of this without wiping the sdcard clean ?
Thanks a lot
Already playing with 8.0.0.a with a fresh install on SDcard
S905 P200-2G-100mbits device tree (minim8s)
Nothing wrong for now, wish I could choose French as a Language, but this is a beta so no big deal
Will maybe try an update, hoping I won't have the boot bug I had last 2 times.
The problem is that I'm not a mind reader and the only information from you is a box name which means nothing due to ever-changing hardware in the same models and that update did not work. I am preparing some fixes in update and booting process thanks to more detailed information form other users and you can hope that an updated version will work fine.
Ok, I'm not able to know what logs you need and where they are. That's why I asked first. But if other users had the problem and were able to give details that's fine by me.
Thanks
kszaq:
I take it a box that won't work after update reboot isn't a problem ?
Or is it because I did something wrong ?
You don't need to backup to switch from beta6 to beta5b. Simply "update" from 6 to 5b and all should work.
jd17 I will take a look at PQ. Now that fractional frame rates are fixed this would be the next thing to look at.
Do you think there's some log I can search to understand what happened during my update ?
Is it worth investigating ?
To update I need to create an Update folder on sd card, put the update file there and reboot?
You can also connect to your libreelec box shared folders on the lan if smb shares are activated in the settings.
Try to type :
\\libreelec
In a file manager from a machine on the same lan
Then move the image file you downloaded into the update folder.
When transfer is finished, reboot the box and the update should start
Reflashed internal with old original firmware using male/male usb.
Then used the same sdcard and it worked (with the reset button method of course)
Very strange that the update process states it does not modify bootloader, but then the box won't start either libreelec nor android after reboot...
