    Hi all,

today I tested an installation of the current L11 nightly on my Wetek Play 2 box.

    1) I have a problem with the resolution. The biggest available resolution is 1024x768. The TV is an older Toshiba HD Flatscreen, supporting 1920x1080 for sure.

Any idea how I can fix this?

    2) The box cannot be switched off, because it restarts automatically. I think someone has already mentioned this.

    3) I have problems with the librespot addon. I do not see it on my phone to connect to. It seems that libresport is continually started and stopped again. There are a lot of these entries in kodi.log.

    2022-10-23 10:23:51.606 T:981 info <general>: Librespot: librespot started

    2022-10-23 10:23:51.710 T:981 info <general>: Librespot: suspended sink 1

    2022-10-23 10:23:51.712 T:981 info <general>: Librespot: librespot stopped

Maybe the addon does not work yet on LE 11 nightlies?

    Best regards

    Kai

I tried this image (LibreELEC-AMLGX.arm-10.80.0-box.img.gz) today on one of my Wetek Play2 (I own two). It worked better than I expected from an early alpha build. I played video from an SMB share and I connected the PVR client to the TV headend server on my other Wetek Play2 (CoreElec 9.2.8). So there is hope I still can re-use my Wetek Play 2 after something will break in CoreElec 9.2.8.

    chewitt :
Do you expect it will get mature enough for an official LibreElec 11.x release?

If yes, I need an alternative solution to the not more supported internal tuner (I assume the chance that someone ports the driver for the internal DVB-S2 tuner is relatively small) so there are two options:

    a) Run both boxes, one still on CoreElec and use the TVHeadend server from this box

    b) Use an USB DVB-S2 Tuner (e.g. Haupauge https://www.hauppauge.de/site/products/data_nova-s2.html)

    a) For this I assume the TVHeadened box should run 24/7 in the background, which I do not like (unnecessary additional power consumption). Both boxes react on the same IR control, so I assume it would be complicated to switch both on together, but furtheremore control only the new Kodi box

So maybe b) is the better alternative?

    Hello again,

    CoreElec 8.95.3, librespot 112, Wetek Play 2:

I currently have the problem that librespot is often not running after the box is initially booted. It is neither visible in the spotify app on the mobile nor is the process running ('ps -edalf | grep librespot' does not show it)

I can help myself by e.g. open the configuration for the addon and saving it, librespot is than restarted.

Here is a log for the case that librespot is not running:

    http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/3pbxd8rdvh/

    Any idea?

I had 111q run for a while today on my Wetek Play 2, CoreElec 8.95.1, Kodi audio mode.

One time it just stopped in the middle of a song. I think it was around this log lines

    20:57:13.073 T:3839869808 NOTICE: Librespot: a playback stopped

20:57:13.073 T:3839869808 NOTICE: Librespot: restarting librespot

20:57:13.073 T:3839869808 NOTICE: Librespot: systemctl restart

The log (reduced, it was huge) can be found here:

    http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/77wjvb77md/

I think I never experienced this with 111m. But it was not reproducible either. I played the same songs/album again and all worked well.

Installed 111m, looks good after a quick test on Wetek Play 2, CoreElec 8.95.0. Both audio modes seem to work.

Only observed one minor problem: Skipping forward in the Spotify app works fine, skipping backwards not. It seems that librespot needs two backward skips to go to the song before (one to the beginning of the current song, another one to the song before). The Spotify app needs only one skip backward to go to the song before. So you can bring both out of sync. I never tested this before, but assume it was present in the previous releases as well and it is a problem in the librespot lib.

Using librespot with the TV off was the original idea, but then some installations had issues with ALSA

librespotd is work in progess: readme.md

Sorry, than I confused the names. I meant the librespot process (in contrast to the library or your addon) running in the background. Does it provide the time information for you to intercept (hooks,events,...), also e.g. for the case someone starts a song somewhere in the middle (spotify app)?

If you get this information it should be possible to update the Kodi GUI.
