Can I please ask everyone here to remain on topic. I do understand that both parts have their side to say but I would ask to clear the air in either a different topic or in private conversations. I find it deeply disturbing to misuse this topic.
I guess it will just take a lot of time until this is usable as a Mediacenter. I was able to fix a null ptr although I went ahead and tested CoreELEC which is a better solution because everything works right now no offense. I will revisit this after more things work.
I got my N2 and tested this but it is not very usable. Kernel panics almost everytime
I have a python3 in image cause I'm using different scripts for IoT and smarthome. I guess I could take a shot at an addon. It pretty simple.
You know the use case could be to make the transition easier. And since hyperion is using it so you could update it. Just saying. And Cryologic has a use case. Package is already there.
You could have a python3 addon this way it would not bloat the image.
This is something I wonder myself. For S805 you would have to make all code for LibreELEC master. S905 and S912 is upstream. Kszaq S805 is LibreELEC 8 based.
There is some issue with linux-amlogic kernel. In Kodi 18 this is solved but I don't think it's easy possible in Kodi 17.

Thank you. I think is best to use what the project uses. It's no problem for me to use GitHub. I have no problem using git cause I worked in Debian for 10 years and we use git for packaging.
One question about contribution. I can send Pull request but what happens if it's not something the project wants to include. Can I keep it in the build?

I am interested to start so Community builds. Ist there any one who can help me set this up. I have read this community rules but where to put files? I know how to compile files because I always built LibreELEC master since 7. I use OdroidC2. My source code I have in my personal git server.
How can I contact LibreELEC Odroid Developers if I have questions for features I make before sending to project?
