Kodi for Android needs at least 5.0, so Gingerbread is a prehistoric version.
I would use the projector as a state-of-the-art bookend.
Granted, the Android system is ancient, but I was hoping to treat it as a raspberry pi and install libreElec & Kodi, wiping the inferior android system. Any thoughts?

He everyone...I have this awful projector that runs on android Gingerbread 2.3.1. Since getting a raspberry pi and running Kodi off that,I am wondering if I can do the same with this projector.
Has anyone any experience?
