Maybe, but I am pretty sure I have not changed it. I installed OpenELEC only a few minutes befor.

But nevertheless, I would be happy to know how to add it. I could not find any possibility.

I was able to set the info key of the remote to be used as context menu key with the addon "Keymap Editor". But many keys are not recognized neither by "Keymap Editor" or by the tool evtest.

I think the biggest problem was, that my remove cannot access context menu. And I not realized that because I am new to KODI / LibreELEC: LibreELEC

I think you are right. First I was not sure where to write.

Ok, you have to click directly on PICTURES to get that option.

I just postet the "menu jump" issue to the KODI forum.

For the other problem, may it is possible to add a "First Run" dialog where we can choose Language, Region and Keyboard Layout. Every PC, TV and mobile phone have this on the first run or during installation. This would also add the opportunity to add later other options for first run. And when it is to complicated to add also language change for movie informations we can add a small info label on the button of this "Language and Regional Settings" Dialog that the user have to change movie informations addon from default language EN if he want this.

This would be a gread step forward in user experience

Solution:

To add them again go to Video → Files → "YOURFOLDER" → Context Menu → Edit Source → Ok → And choose again content type = Movie

Sorry, I don't understand that sentence correctly I think. But yes, I found no other option. I already made this with OpenELEC and there I also searched for other solution befor ... Changing the language to use for summaries and other metadata doesn't work

I just deleted the database MyVideos99.db from .kodi/userdata/Database/ to get movie informations in the language I changed in the movie information addon for TMDB. But now the movies are completly gone (not the files).
Also nothin happens when I press the "update library" entry.

Hope I can avoid install LibreELEC completely new.

I just wrote this in the LibreELEC forum but then I installed LibreELEC and I think I will stay, so these is no double post

I tried since a few hours to add correct settings for my ZOTAC remote control.

Infos:CHIPMAST TECH ET81P304
Bus 002 Device 008: ID 2571:4101
Mostly I want to add the Context Menu, most of other keys are working. Keycode is KEY_PROGRAM

How can I change the keymapping for this controller to use it with LibreELEC and KODI? What is the best way for doing this?

I just installed LibreELEC and I am missing the file browse option at the pictures menu

When I install LibreELEC if have to change "Language", "Region" and "Keyboard layouts"

One problem is, that when you choos the language the menu jumps back to 1. entry "Skin". So some user can think thats is all they have to change

Other problem is that you may add some movies bevore and read infos from the database

I know from some linux distributions (Ubuntu, Linux Mint, ...) that when thay ask you during installation for language. And if you choose something like German the Region and especally the keyboard layout also changes.

edit: I also think users who change language wand to gat the movie database informations in there choosen language. So also asking for that information would avoi the problem, that wou update movie informations, see it is EN (default). Than change Addon-language to you language. Update movie informations and nothing happens, because if is only lookinf for new informations...

It would be a great way to make LibreELEC more user friendly
