First, downgrade to 8.2.3 and confirm all is back to normal. Then, install the contents of 8.2.4 firmware (zip) in the root partition (overwriting the files of the same name) and re-test and confirm if there is any change. This firmware is suitable for both RPi0W and CM3. To restore your original 8.2.3 firmware, use 8.2.3 firmware (zip)
Hi, finally got some to time check with 8.2.4 firmware and yes, the boot failed the first time with new firmware. It gives on screen

Just to mention, I have CM3 in the Slice currently. Reverting back to 8.2.3 firmware works like charm.
