Hazaa! You are a bloody legend and a scholar. I unplugged the TV from the power this morning. 7 hours later, I just plugged it back in and tried it. Kodi CEC is connected and working.
Thank you!

Hi,
Just over the weekend, in the last 5 days, CEC remote, suddenly stopped working on my setup.
Raspberry goes into switcher box, then to Amplifier, then to TV.
I have tried eliminating everything and just plugging Raspberry Pi directly to the TV.
Still nothing. I even tried rebuilding the SD Card. Tried version 9.97, but was on 10.0 previously and it was working fine.
Rebuilt SD Card to version 10.0 again fresh. Still not working.
Apart from that KODI itself is working fine.
Tried changing and updating cables even to new cables.
No rhyme or reason. The only thing I haven't changed, is the HDMI to micro HDMI adapter.
Could that be causing the issue??
LG TV used to detect the connection as KODI in the HDMI input source. Now it just shows as RECORDER.
This is driving me crazy? Any ideas?
*edit. This is what I get when I do a cec-ctl -S
Kodi-Lounge:~ # cec-ctl -S
