Did you somehow disable the internal wifi on the pi and/or configure libreelec to use the new card?

How did you use that? Drivers? Plug and play?

I have, maybe, 5 Pis with the latest libreelec version on them. I am currently running network wires to all of them since using wifi is nothing but buffer, buffer, buffer. I know it works fine (wifi) as I use it on windows laptops and android tablets. Why is the pi (or libreelec) so spotty with wifi?
Thanks!

Yea did that. I was just sorta hoping someone here would have a good solution specific to pi. I'll play around with it and see.

So anyone have any suggestions with, say, ffmpeg to transcode these videos to something the PI could handle?
Thanks!

I have to try to get a log. It's not installed at my home but my sisters 3 hours away :(. But she showed me through skype. What is pastebin and how do you use it?

Seems like my Pi3 can't handle any kind of 1080p video using libreelec. I know this can't be the case. I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone give me any suggestions. Video files are on wired network.
Thanks!

So there's no way to use a browser on Raspeberri Pi with Kodi as the primary shell?

I have been looking for months for a solution to watch Hulu or Netflix on my Librelec. I guess I should have asked earlier. Is this even possible? If so, can I get some direction on where to get what addon?
Thanks!

Subject says it all. Where is Chromium in 8.2.2? I see mention of it but I cannot find it in any repository. Help?

Found the issue. I built another pi and it works flawlessly with wifi. The micro-sd card I used in the "bad" one was not class-10. Just an el-cheepo. I don't even know where it came from. Class-10 is the way to go for anyone reading this. Sorry for blaming librelec.

Has anyone figured out a definitive solution to accessing the shares on the Pi from a Windows 10 Pro machine? I Know this is a real problem. Lots of people complaining. But I cannot seem to find a solution. I can access them fine from a Windows 10 Home machine.
Thanks! -
I have a new Pi 3/B with the latest LibreElect I just built (I've built many). This particular one I am trying to use wirelessly since I don't have a LAN connection available. Trying to play a video causes it to buffer constantly. It's just not watchable.
I took an old 8.1 windows tablet, threw Kodi on (17.5) and tried it on the same network in the same general vicinity as the pi and it works flawlessly. Both of them are on the same network. Both of them show the same 5 bars (max) of signal strength. I gotta say I am pretty disappointing unless I am missing something obvious. I am trying to figure out how to run a network cable out there now.
The PI has nothing on it in terms of storage other than O/S. All the files are on a NAS in a different part of the house.
Any ideas how to fix this buffering issue?

Seems like such an easy thing to add. Wishful thinking I guess. I have setup about 14 pis so far.

This is probably a Kodi feature request but offhandedly, it would be nice to have an interface to setup MySql settings in the AdvancedSettings.xml file or even copy it from the network somewhere then reboot.
Just a thought. Another thing I have to do for every Kodi I setup.

All the Raspberry Pi's I have I have to manually add
dtoverlay=gpio-ir
to the /flash/config.txt so that I Can enable the IR support on the gpio interface. Can this be put into an option in Libreelec? Would be nice not to have to SSH into the box to do this single manual configuration.
