Yes! Local playback seems fine so far. It's not ideal, but I can probably live with it. If it's a network issue, though, I wonder why I have no problems with videos?
Anyway, thanks for the suggestion!

I hate to bump, but I still have this problem and it is driving me crazy. Any other ideas? Is there any more information I could provide that may be helpful?
I'm not sure if this thread will help but it sounds similar:
Thank you for your response, blueribb. I did see that post or a very similar one before posting this. However, I do not have the WavForHue addon, which seemed to be the cause in that post.
I seem to have a problem playing music with LibreELEC on my Odroid C2.
All of my media is hosted on my local network via FTP.
I also use an ubuntu VM running mysql to host the video and music library databases.
I never have a problem playing videos. Movies, TV shows, music videos, all different formats play fine with no issue.
But when I play music files, I usually only get through a few songs before the playback freezes and the GUI is no longer responsive.
The underlying OS still seems fine when this happens, because I can still use ssh/scp.
I enabled debug logging and captured one of the crashes. Log files:kodi.log, .kodi_crashlog.log
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.
