I’ve tried that .ova file if that is what you are referring to. It comes with a 500mb partition size that you cannot change easily. Even if you extend the memory and hard disk size of your virtual machine, the partition will not expand yo fill the space. As a consequence you cannot install any addons. From reading up on this over the weekend, the advice I saw other people getting was to set up your own install using the libreelec SD writer, which is what I did. I used the generic 64 bit design. As I say, I already have Kodi and tvheadend installed and working on another VM. I’ve found the response on the forum so far to be a little bit disinterested so far, which is disappointing for me as it was my preferred OS...

I have a working install of Ubuntu and Kodi in another VM, but I am giving Libreelec once last go before I move on. I have used the SD creator on my Ubuntu install to create a flash card copy of the Libreelec OS. I have then successfully booted into Plop Boot Manager and managed to boot into the Libreelec Installation tool. I then get an error however saying that 'No devices were found' when attempting to copy the contents of the SD card over to the system drive to install LE.

I have copied the instructions given at 'http://www.vmwarearena.com/boot-from-usb-…rive-in-vmware/' exactly and am not sure what the issue is. Can anyone please assist?

i am going to build a full home theatre build. i am just testing building an OS in a VM...ive got it working on an ubuntu install. was hoping to do like wise with libreelec...

i was following an online video for installing which advised to install TVHE 4.2 from the services folder in the libreelec repo. that is what is failing to install. have attempted to install the wrong thing? if so, are there any installation instructions i can follow?

I am getting an error installing TVHeadEnd on my LibreElec Kodi install, which is part of a VMWare Player mount. I am getting an error that it cannot connect to 127.0.0.1:9982. This is not the IP address given for my install in Kodi however. I am not sure what to do in order to correct the problem. I do not have the option to configure the install before installing it in Kodi. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hi. I am looking to DIY build a 4K HTPC with a 60hz 4K capture card to use with sky Q. Because the viewing card has to be paired with the box, I cannot use a third party HTPC directly, so instead a capture card.

I’ve got a basic version of this set up working with a Colossus 2 on my desktop PC, but am struggling to find a conclusive answer around a 4K PVR set up on Librelec.

Could someone please help?
