Hmm. Thats weird. Seems to be working now. For future reference, I missed to check "Output configuration" to Best match. I had it set to optimized. I dont know why it makes any difference. But it clearly does.

But it works flawless except for when the display is in 24p. And no problems when I used the Odroid. Thats the thing im trying to narrow down. If its a hardware problem or not

Oh. Its a bit confusing. In my case i have advance the audio. In advancedsettings i put a video delay to match the audio since I cant find a way to set audio +/- minus in the xml file.
I use a 60" led from Samsung. Nothing fancy. ju6075 i believe its called

Nope! Hdmi between Nuc and TV. And the problem only occurs when the TV sets it self to 24p.

I had this issue. Solved it by browsing my TV settings. Found a setting for the Optical audio output. Had to change it to Dolby Digital. After that I followed the "TV (AC3)" from the guide posted above.

Hi!
I recently swapped my Odroid (running CoreELEC) for an Intel NUC6CAYH running LibreELEC latest Krypton. Overall a big upgrade except for a thing that raises some questions.
With the Nuc I need to set a 735ms delay for 24p video in advancedsetting to have my movies a/v synced when using audio passthrough. In combination with setting the screen refreshrate to match the media being played that is.
With that said. Is this a hardware specific issue or is it a LibreELEC vs CoreELEC thing? If I were to guess i'd say it's a S905 perk compared to Intel, but I actually have no idea.
I guess I'm just curious if I can look forward for this being fixed or not It's hard to get the perfect delay setting.
Also I have to use the passthrough and DTS transcoding to get surround, since I'm using a Sonos playbar setup. I mean it's a great feature
Any knowledge out there?

Nvm. Typo in advancedsettings caused the failure of passthrough. It's working now! Big thinks!

And weirdly audio passthrough stops working when i have the delay settings present in advancedsettings

Will that only affect 24p video? Because I wont need the settings for ex. liveTV or youtube

Hi!
I'm on LibreELEC Generic 8.2.5
I run my Kodi gui in 1080p@60 for a smoother experience. I am also having "Adjust display refreshrate" set to start/stop because the video stutters if not set properly.
Recently I swapped my Odroid C2 for a Intel Nuc6cayh and I suddenly noticed that when Kodi sets the TV to 24p, my audio wont stay in sync.
So for liveTV running at usually 50hz it's fine, but for a movie in 24p it's out of sync. (Which makes saving a global audio offset just as bad as having to set it everytime I start a movie)
I do experience that the audio delay is worse when watching DTS content, I guess that might be because I use DTS transcoding since my Sonos playbar only handles Dolby digital.
Is this something that can be solved or will I have to accept the fact that I need to constantly adjust the Audio offset?

It depends on your 'use case'. Right now, AFAIK, hdr in Linux is still a work-in-progress (if at all). Other than that, it should be able to do 99% of all videos. A NUC tends to be a somewhat more powerful solution for heavy skins, also gigabit speeds and disk read/write speeds tend to be better. NUC components are still pretty expensive, for example DDR3/4 dimm prices.
On the other hand, the average cheap China box you can get now for the fraction of a NUC price, but they do underperform in certain areas. Video-wise, the price/quality factor is pretty good.
Ye I totally get the price:performance! Haven't tried any android boxes yet. Only Odroid C2 and Raspberry Pi.

Just a question. Are devices like Intel Nuc completely out of the picture? Seems to exist some nice ones in the lower price range with a lot of hw decoding capabilities

Raspberry Pi has some advancedsettings tweaks applied by default that reduce the size/resolution of all the artwork in the library. You can apply the same tweak to other devices to mitigate slower scrolling performance in libraries.
THIS!!!
Thank you! Now it's rock solid!

Hi!
I just bought an Odroid C2 with eMMC module. Installed LibreELEC using the downloader. It runs great! Overall snappy and quick. BUT!
When browsing Movies and TV Shows it suddenly feels slow as a Raspberry Pi. Actually my Raspberry Pi 3 is quicker in the library. Using Estuary skin on both.
Is this a common and known problem? Memory usage sits at whopping 700MB after I spent a minute in the Movie section.
Playback doesn't seem to have any problems. Even tested 4k without issues. It's just the UI that feels laggy. Only in Movies/TV Shows library.
