No matter which Libreelec version I use, I get freezes when using FTP streaming with some files (the file won't even start, only the loading icon spins endlessly). How can I find out where the problem is? I'm using Filezilla FTP Server. When using the flashed original Android and Kodi 16 everything works fine.

I think I can handle $0.20/moYeah thats what I think too. I never put the box into standby, because 2 Watts really isn't that much. If suspend would work I would reconsider, but right now I'll just let it run.

As I received random *** Error in mount flash: mount common: Could not mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 *** when booting, I reflashed 007 to SD. Now works like a charm!

Unfortunately Moonlight doesn't seem to work: after installing and configuring it I tried to open Steam, but after two seconds screen goes blank and it's back to Kodi (log reads "Platform 'default' not found"). Is there any workaround for this or is moonlight-embedded not working on S905X (I have a Mini M8S II) right now? -
Flashed it on SD and put into my Mini M8S II with S905X chip with toothstick method. Initial test show that everythings seems to work flawless, but sometimes I get *** Error in mount flash: mount common: Could not mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 *** when booting.
Unfortunately Moonlight doesn't seem to work: after installing and configuring it I tried to open Steam, but after two seconds screen goes blank and it's back to Kodi (log reads "Platform 'default' not found"). Any chance this will work with the S905X chipset in the future?

Just read this article: Tanix TX5 Pro TV Box Review – Part 2: Modding and Testing, under section 4K it said: 'The Amlogic S905X does not supports h.264 60 fps above 1080p'.I also don't get the logic of 4K h.264, which is supported by S905 but not by S905X while this format is now more and more popular in Asia. Not sure about what would happen with S912!
4k with h.264 is useless, because the bitrate is far too high. so it makes sense not to support that combination. 4k will make heavy use of h.265/hevc which is supported by the S905X.

A95X S905XThe A95X has no S905X

'bugging' = annoying or bothering someone.
'buggering' = something else entirely.
lol omg you're right - I definately don't want to bugger you, Kszaq

kszaq sorry for buggering, but is there any chance we will see libreelec on the S905X platform too?

No for the moment we can't have LE on MiniM8S II. Because this is 905x not 905 !
And read again the other forum.
User could say he installed LE on MiniM8S II realised that it was an error. He had a TV Box with 905 and not 905x like you and me.wtf, because of the user report about the MiniM8S II I ordered one. now I'm not able to use libreelec? any chance the S905x will get a ported libreelec?

Can someone please check if Moonlight is included in this release (like it is for the Odroid C2 release) and has possibly tested to stream games with it? I'd like to know if the generic S905s are able to do a smooth game streaming without any noticeable latency.

Is moonlight (like with the odroid release) included and if so, anyone tried it yet? How is the input latency, any issues with streaming game @ 1080p and 20mbps using h264 or h265?
