Installing anything is a joke: search "a build" on random forum, and there is "a tree", press power button for 8 seconds... no 14 seconds... omg, wtf it's 2018 or what

After another piece of zotac crap died, I'm looking for something that's plug-n-play, self-updated and requires minimum configuration.
I was looking what's on the market this days, but seems like all the android based devices require huge time investment to make them boot and work properly.
Requirements are simple: dts formats support, no "configuration" required, works at least for 2-3 years
Is there anything available for people who not in DYI computers?
