Lakka has no kodi, Lakka has only Retroarch and Its GUI. PS3-Like
I know, and it works like a charm, but for instance on my 905 box I'm using a plugin in Kodi to start retroarch. So i was just wondering if you could add retroarch on LE with the required libs and find a way to start it, though I'm trying to multi-boot first with Lakka on USB, which will work good enough

New RC3 only change is the remote configuration fixed
Probably some hardware fluke on the box, where the reinstall or even just a few extra resets made it work again as it should.
Thanx again. On a related note, are you thinking of making a Kodi/Lakka combined built or is that too not an option?
Back on new RC3 and 5Ghz speed is also much better again. (acceptable at 52 Mbps and not much less than the 64 on 2.4).
No idea what happened there, but at least it's no issue anymore
I'll see if there is anything showing in the logs on this (and if the updated build does the same).

One thing I noticed with RC3 on my M8, is that while RC2 dropped down to a faster 2.4 GHz connection, RC3 stays on 5GHz even when the signal is of very low strength.
I'll probably fix it on the router side, but it was just something that caught my eye.
(as far as I know there is also no way to force LE to use a specific WiFi band)
It's an RX-V671 and up to now it has accepted anything I have thrown at it
I've got an RX-V667 and with one box had to toggle sometimes between HDMI inputs on the receiver, and wait a few seconds to get sound. (something with HDMI sync I think). Not the best workaround, but worth a try.

I'm willing to try this method out. Could you please provide some more detail? Maybe some links? You'd be a lifesaver... The last time i tried to install Openelec via update zip, bricked the box.
I've tried running the installtointernal command several times as well and still no luck.

I had this on one (out of a few) MXQ Pro 4k boxes as well, and had to go trough an odd update route via generic Android MXQ pro 4k firmware to OpenElec via zip update, after which I could finally update with a tar libreelec update file. (going from Android to Librelec (installinternal) would bring the black screen back again).
I'm sure there must be better ways to get it working, (although I ran installtointernall several times in a row) but this managed to work for me.
Great to see you added Radarr to the 8.1 plugin. Are you intending to build it for 7.0 as well ?
(8.1 on s905 is still having memory leaks)

I was very happy to get couchpotato running on a 905 (runs great) but now it seems that couchpotato itself is becoming almost impossible to be used for torrents. An alternative was recently started based on Sonarr: GitHub - Radarr/Radarr: A fork of Sonarr to work with movies à la Couchpotato. wich seems to work quite well already.
Do you have any plans in including this? (I haven't really studied the sources yet, but as it is based on Sonarr, it should be possible I think)
Would be great if it worked though. I'd love to get some s905's with Kali installed, and use them as stealthy pentest devices.

Are you sure you haven't missed the change in subtitle support in Kodi, where you have to add subtitle providers as separate addons ?
Hello..I'm trying to flash the LibreELEC-S905.aarch64-7.0.3.011.zip file via recovery on my Beelink MiniMx.

Put the contents of this zip on the card, it needs extracting first.
(It contains an .aml file and an update zip file)

I managed to install LibreElec on my box, by first installing another MXQ Pro 4k firmware (not many worked but finally burned update_mxqpro_rv102 from chinagadgetreviews). That firmware seemed to have issues with booting from USB, but I updated from the update menu with a LibreElec update zip after which it finally managed to boot into LibreElec instead of hanging on a black or logo screen.
(I had some network issues with that earlier LibreElec, but the latest version is working fine now)
Question with trying to store LE on NAND. One of my MXQ PRO 4k keeps refusing to boot from NAND (just doesn't boot from NAND even after multiple write attempts). Other generic 4k Android firmwares and an older OpenElec build do exactly the same.
Would it help to post the Android partition information here, or is it a lost cause?
