Hi Iridium,
here're the logs:
dmesg: http://ix.io/1acw
kodi.log: http://ix.io/1acx
After watching some time HD channels I also noticed something weird here. There is some flickering too and also weird stuttering for example a football.
Hey all,
I did a fresh reinstall of LE9 today and I noticed that the Live TV SD quality is pretty bad. I know its SD, but is much more worse than before. I have a lot of blocks and some flickering. I also tested 4.3 nightly builds, but no change.
I haven't configured much, all pretty standard.
Its the generic build with an AMD E350 together with an 4K Samsung TV.
BTW HD looks just normal, like on LE8.
I have an DVBSky T9580 V3 DVB-C and the cards is supported by default without any additional drivers.
Edit: oh and I also tried my tvheadend installation on my central server instead of the local one on the LE Box, same problem, so I think it has nothing to do with the tvheadend server. Its somehow Kodi 18 or the tvheadend client.
Maybe someone else with that problem?
Best regards,
Marcel
as long the recordings are okay and play okay at VLC ... this is no DVB driver problem
pls open a new thread about it with attached kodi logs
I also did a recording and I have the issue also in my recording played with VLC. So maybe DVB related? I have video and audio glitches.
Hi CvH, I installed sammy's build with the legacy nvidia drivers. Still get the artifacts - in exactly the same place for the recorded F1 clip. Live TV has them too.
This issue definitely came about since LE8. I was using your community 7 builds w/ TBS drivers - had no problems with artifacts there...
Any ideas anyone ?
This sounds exactly like my problem. But I have an AMD E350.
Hey guys,
I applied the 8.2.3, but I still have some artifacts when watching some TV channels. But I dont see continuity errors in the tvheadend webinterface.
I have a PCIe DVBSky T9580 V3.
Please see my post on page 13
Here are the links again to some builds i made with the problematic commit reverted...
Thanks, but stupid Question: How can I update my system with these files? Usually I place these images (img.gz) in the update folder of libreelec.
Can I create an image of your files?
Best regards,
Marcel
Hey all,
I have x86_64 with 8.2.0 (kernel 4.11.12) and have issues with dvb. I have a DVBSky T9580 V3.
Could somebody provide me a 8.2.2 release with linus torvalds fix?
Best regards,
Marcel
Hey CvH,
are you gonna release a version of 8.2.2 with dvb drivers?
thanks
Marcel
