Why not Telestar DIGIBIT R1 SAT2IP ? works great with Tvheadend and Kodi
.iso or disc ? I think you can only play unprotected disc/iso.
My test .iso works on Intel NUC and Rpi with method from here.

Is it the new longpress support who messed up Mce remote in 8.90.1 ? Some buttons don`t responde and alot of double press.
All works perfect in 8.90.0
Don't have such device which means it is the same story as with RPi: Maybe someone will investigate. But I'm sure it could be done.
Maybe you could try above RPi2 version.
