I've got EPG data in my TVHeadend client as you can see below, but...

I can't get that information to appear in the 'guide' on Kodi. It's driving me nuts and no matter what I google I can't seem to find a guide. I suspect I have to link the channels somehow, but I can't see where. Any thoughts?

I'd be forever in your debt if you can help me with this one before I lose my sanity!

thanks! I've realised the problem I have is that whilst I can ssh into kodi and poke around; e.g., I had to create the folder recordings in storage for the recording to work. However I can't connect to the other disks in the box this way and I've no idea what the address would be for each disk so I don't know how I get in to "see" them. Hence I can't see if all the old recordings are still around.

I've accepted those might have gone now, which leaves me with one problem:

Hi, I'm a complete idiot. So I installed an add-on yesterday when I was tired and clicked it through to a point where it installed over my existing LibreElec and I lost all my settings, etc. I've done a reset back to a clean LibreElec and am just re doing my channel list on the TV, but what I can't seem to do is re-instate all my TV Recordings.

    Couple of questions:

    1) I'm not overly familiar with libreElec/ Linux so I'm not quite sure how I get a command line so I can look through and find the location on the disk and check if they are all still there or if they have been overwritten too :( Any tips on how to do that would be really valued. Along with what are the default directories for tv recordings with tvheadend

    2) Assuming I can find the files, how do I connect that folder so it appears in 'recordings' on kodi? Is it best to just move them from their current folder to the new default or can you have multiple folders associated with that single view on Kodi?

    Really appreciate any tips!

    Chris

    Hello,

I've set up TVheadend using the wizard that comes with it, sorted the channels and made sure it was working... it was (recording wasn't but I could see the picture). I've numbered the channels and sorted everything so the family won't lynch me and now I can't get any TV playing now. I've rebooted and it's still the same, I get: 'PVR manager is starting up' in the top corner, but nothing else...

I've not set up XMLTV or anything like that yet I'll hopefully find a guide on here to that later) and I know I need to sort recording, but without a picture I'm several steps behind achieving this. Anybody got any advice as to how I can proceed?

    Thanks,

I'm having the same problem. I've installed this before (few weeks ago) and it's just worked straight away using the SMB network. I've had some problem with TVheadend and decided that I'd just start again. Regretting that now!

What are you meant to put in the 'add network location' box? e.g., I know the IP of my NAS ***.***.*.** do I add the :5000 I have to put on to access the admin screen from my browser; e.g., 123.456.7.89:5000 (is this the sever name... or is it the name I've given my NAS; e.g., MY_NAS? Should it be SMB in protocol?

I've done all the actions above and the changing of SMB1 to be min and max has resulted in me being able to see my NAS, but it doesn't let me connect, I just get the 'operation not permitted'... can anybody help out there please?
