I worked around it by using 8.0.2 first and then updating.
Nevertheless I will try to reproduce it with another SD Cards and the 8.2.2 the next days and will provide logs.

Same problem here. I can not get a connection to my wifi with 8.2.2 & PI3.
With Kodi on RetroPie it was working before.
It's a full fresh install without any modifications.
I am using LibreELEC 8.2.2 on a Raspberry Pi 3.
When setting it up I am asked for the Wifi Passphrase, which is in my case a very long string.
Is it possible to use WPS for setting up the connection somehow in LibreELEC?
Is this possible with Raspberry i,e, Raspbian in general? Headless wifi via push button WPS - Raspberry Pi Forums
Do you plan to implement it?
This would be handy escpecially when using the raspberry in change environment as potable media player.
Yet another suggestion for the first start / setup wizard;
What do you think about requesting the user first to specify the keyboard layout / locale before setting up wifi. This could prevent obstacles which you will in case QWERTY is mixed up with QWERTZ layout.

And btw. what you have created here is awesome. So simple to setup and use... I can't believe it
