Thanks SMP. In my case I have used 2 brands - Kingston and Samsung, and it has failed in both cases.
Dear Forum
This is the third time that it has happened to me. The latest LibreElec version in my RPI3 is randomly corrupting the SD. The SD got somehow the Read mode only status, and I just cannot get away of it, neither in Linux nor in Windows. If I try Win32Disk tool to try to get a new fresh version of the image burnt, 1117 Error is brought up.
I have been reading now and I can see ways to prevent this to happen again ( I have read the fact that automatic updates and unfortunate situations in which the power would get cut may have caused the situation).
Can anyone please shed some light into the issue? Anyone else facing the same flaw?
Thx in advance and Happy Holiday Season
Rgds
