Hi guys

I have updated to the latest LibreELEC (Leia) v8.90.005 ALPHA but video in slideshow is still not working correctly, you can hear audio but the screen stays blank. This is an annoying old issue which exists for quite a while.

I created a test folder and dumped a few jpg's and videos in different formats but none of the videos are playing, audio only with black screen. All videos are playing fine if played individually just not as a slideshow. You can easily replicate the error in the same way.

There are many threads asking for a solution.

Me and I'm sure many others would appreciate if one of the developers could spend some time to fix this issue.

Old thread but the old bug still exists month later. I have the same issue as above and don't understand why simple and important things like this do not get fixed.

I hope that some developer will get a chance to have look at this annoying bug and get it fixed as it is so simple to reproduce.

It is nowadays such a common thing to take pictures and short videos with your phone and later watch them as a slideshow with a mix of photos and videos but such a simple thing is not possible with Kodi/Libreelec.
