Not single protocol is detecting key press on remote, so i dont know what is broken, on coreelec all is working fine
m8s pro l (s912) boot fine but i dont have remote control and i cant get pass welcome to LibreElec setup screen. I have enable ssh and can connect with box but i cant find correct remote config files
Thanks for reply, im coming back to libreelec from coreelec since coreelec will not support kodi 19 for s912, so im switching back to libreelec once again and since lot of time passed all of this is once again new to me
Hello, i have try for the first time this builds and i cant get remote to work on my MECOOL m8s PRO L s912 box, after making sd card with "LibreELEC-AMLGX.arm-9.80-nightly-20210118-c3d5c93-box.img" i can boot kodi just fine but i cant make it work with remote or with cec i have try to use all dtb files for s912 platform but i cant get it to work.What im i doing wrong do i need to add anything to kodi itself to make it work?

first thing that i have try, not working (cant find kodi)
but i cant get to ssh since i cant finish gui setup on kodi and enable ssh i can only access samba share on the box
ok so first problem that i solved was that i was unable to boot libreelec image in the first place and then i figure out that i need to run aml_autoscript.zip but that did not work so i reflashed my box firmware and i was able to use aml_autoscript.zip file and boot to libreelec.
But now i cant use remote and dtb that i used is meson-gxm-q201.dtb but remote is not working i have try to add file remote.conf from coreelec sdcard root to libreelec sdcard root but this is not working and now i stuck at welcome to LibreElec

I have downloaded and burn sd card with LibreELEC-ARMv8.arm-9.80-devel-20200626140824-569f834-amlgx.img image file and put that sd card back in tv box and when i power on tv box i see mecool logo and then i start boot android, i have try to press menu button on remore when box is booting in order to boot from sd card but nothing is working

i can boot coreelec from sd card so i know that sd card reader on tv box is working
if I install libreelec on emmc storage will I be able to reflash android and since my box (mecool pro l) have l1 drm will this be lost
Hi i have one problem with HDMI if my tv is off and i power on tv box first and then tv i dont get image on screen i only have black screen cec in not pressent on tv when i was runing libre on pi i was able to add some strings to config file in order that hdmi is always active can this be done also on s912 build
Hi i dont get it live tv works without problem but recordings stutter and buffers and after 1-2 min i lose audio

if i install libreelec to internal storage of my device m8s pro l will i be able to go back to android by making sd card with burn tool and original firmware from .img fila and will my drm L1 key be perserve
This has been covered many times there is no hardware decoding for libwidevine (yet) it's not something that is likely to get address any time soon.
This is only apply for libreelec right ?since on android i have hw decoding of amazon but maybe this because i have widevine l1 drm support on box and im not using libwidevinecdm.so
question, when i use amazon prime, video is decoded in software and its slow, but on android video is decoded using hardware and plays super fast can this be fixed
You won't be able to unfortunately, you could maybe try the latest nightly release though.
