It would be good to know what exactly you mean with "don't work out of the box". Are none of the buttons working, or only some?

Yes none of the Button's work and i looked at the keymap editor and it's all Greek to me

I bought a couple of those little black USB PC Remote's to use on 2 of my PI Zero W and they don't work out of the box is there a .XML file i can download to get these to work?
