Tanix TX3 pro, i dont use vpn though but i'm sure that wifi doesn't drop since all my files are on the network.
Found out how to fix.
I just disabled dhcp from my Wi-Fi settings, and set to manual (with fixed IP)
Than in DNS, I added 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (google's) and now it seems to work!
Dunno why, but reading online I found this fix for another similar problem and just tried.
i have 2 x S905x (tx3 and x96) boxes running 8.2.1.1 and there is no wifi drop during idle. we usually don't turn off the boxes. no special setup, just normal dhcp with the router.
That's strange... Sadly I can't even use an Ethernet connection.
By TX3 you mean TANIX/ZENOPLIGE android box ? I have the TX5 Pro which should be very similar.
I just use Live TV function with OpenVPN.
When I turn on the TV and try to open a channel, it starts loading for few seconds (30 sec) and than nothing.
Hi everybody.
I tried to look for this bug in the forum without success, so I write some lines to describe it.
In few words: LibreElec works perfectly, but if leave it in idle, after boot, than the Wi-Fi doesn't work anymore until I reboot the device.
It's not a big deal, but I'd love to have my TX5 Pro always on so it can sync and do his stuff in the background.
I don't use any Kodi addon except for zomboided OpenVPN client for my IPVanish account.
Any suggestion?
