Long time gone, but - I have exactly the same problem. It occurs as well with that satellite, but for me only with one channel (rbb), and at one special sequence: when they switch from an entertainment show to the weather forecast (19:25/24/7). @avlkmhyd Do you have a solution meanwhile?

I think you mean post #242, right (the Linus Torvalds patch)?
Yes.

I tested the build from post #232 on Raspi3 with DVBSky S960. No artefacts or errors in the stream.
But:
when I watch Live-TV while recording (the same channel, like timeshift) there are audio drop-outs. Only while simultaneously watching. When I stop recording and watch the file, there are no audio drop-outs (sounds like that: LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)). This occured with the build from post #221 as well.

Updated Leia builds with downgraded kernel.
You made my day. Runs on my RPi3/DVBSky S960 like a charm without any errors.

could you also pls test my image if the new drivers change anything ?
Tested them all. Unfortunatelly no improvement. Still some artefacts, audio drops and recordings with a lot of data/transport errors. Official 8.2.1 and 8.0.2 as well.
The last working version for me (without any errors) was SMP's image from above (LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-8.0.2-k48-nomb).

I built the 8.2.1 RPi2 image with kernel 4.8 but it doesn't work properly (HEVC doesn't work). The new version of ffmpeg HEVC patch is incompatible with older kernels. I tried to use an older version of ffmpeg HEVC patch but Kodi failed to build with it.
Anyway thank you for your work. I wanted to start for the very first time compiling by my own this weekend - useless, as you explained.
So there are only a few ways for users like me with RPi2/3 and DVBSky S960: staying at the "last" running build 8.0.2, changing the hardware or changing the distro (to a one with kernel <4.9). Or hoping for a kernel-patch. Right?

I'm not going to bother with 8.2. Here's an updated generic 9.0 Leia build with kernel 4.8.
LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.0-devel-20171122224031-231122-k48.tar
I appreciate your work and am still using your build for RPi2, V 8.0.2. Any chance for a build for latest stable LibreELEC V 8.2.1? Thank you.
