How can I set the resolution?
I'm running and older projector via HDMI and there seems to be problems with CEC or something.
1080 does not work while 720 works.
My current problem is: Kodi works but Emulationstations chooses a wrong mode. I would like to correct the capabilities to just include 720.
I assume I have to set the default mode via the bootloader?
(Hardware is a Mecool M8S pro +)
Any hints how to fix the colorspace problem? My picture is too purple.
I already tried this: Color problem with S905X
10 bit gives completely broken colors and for 8 bit I see no difference.
So what to try now?

docooler You can't use 1024x768 with current kernel on Amlogic. The issue you are experiencing is due to a bug in Kodi free_scale implementation. I can't help much more now (mobile only) but you can try running these commands (and reboot):
fw_setenv outputmode 1080p60hz
fw_setenv hdmimode 1080p60hz
This worked. However, my projector did not work using these modes and shows only a blue line.
Changing the resolution in Kodi two 1080x720 makes the projector work, but the colorspace is wrong (purple).
The problem seems to be somewhere else. I attached a different HDMI Display and the image is broken as well.
The hardware is a Docooler M9S-PRO S905, can this be due to wrong dtb?

I'm having a problem with HDMI and resolution/refresh rate. My image is barely visible. This is not affected by changing the resolution/refresh rate.
But I can select only 1280x and 1920x and I would like to try 1024. Any other hints?
Which dtb do I need for the Docooler M9S Pro 8GB?
Edit: Seems to work with gxbb_p200_1G_100M_RealtekWiFi.dtb
Does it work via SD only or also via USB-Stick?

For the record: This TWRP images works when put on the SD-card: TWRP_MiniMX.img
