With 8.90.2 DVBviewer Client Performance is bad again.

Pitch Problems and stuttering are happening all the Time, even during straight Playback.

Back to 8.90.1 again.

I really think that its a Performance Problem of the Device.

Is there a way to disable every Kind of Animation in Kodis/Libreelecs GUI?

Especially all Kind of Fade-In and -Out Effects?

No Idea about Linux but on Windows i would assign highest CPU Priority to Video/Audio Playback and lowest Priority to the GUI.

Can something compareable be done with Libreelec/Kodi?

enabled or disabled doesnt make a real difference on my device.

in both cases audio speeds up and slows down like a broken turntable when using the gui (scrolling through menus, entering text in textboxes, etc) at the same time.

sometimes more, sometimes less.

when i dont touch anything audio and video play fine, mostly.

every couple days it happens all the time and i have to reboot the machine.

if it is part of amcodec why doesnt it "sync" 24p video to 50hz?

when "sync playback to display" is disabled i get the normal 24p 1 seconds stutter on 24p video files.

with the test build i had much more problems.

e.g. mpeg 2 channels had no sound and playback freezed after some seconds.

otherwise the onboard realtek chip of my a95x is sooo bad.

feels like a 9600 baud modem.

why the hell doesnt realtek give up to produce wlan chips.

i owned several realtek wifi devices in the past and they all were extremely unusable.

tried a ralink dlink dwa-140 usb stick and it worked ok but had some dropouts with 1080p 25fps h264 live tv.

i keep it wired.

doesnt work.

its the passphrase.

it works when i use only alpha-numeric chars.

but using the complete ascii code, libreelec and android phone can't connect.

windows and ios devices are fine.

I have 1 main disturbing problem with my nexbox a95x (s905x) and all librelec releases i've tested.

Very often the pitch of the sound goes up and down.

It sounds like a broken turntable or tape deck.

No matter what file (oldskool avi with xvid, x264, x265 10bit) or dvbviewer live tv.

Its very heavy when i use the osd menu and video runs in background.

And when i enter something into a text field it completely goes crazy even with dropouts and cuts.

Will this ever be fixed?

otherwise with one of those very old versions it was black after doing rgb switch.

searching for "rgb output" delivers 40 pages with 25 results per page.

if this is the command "echo 1 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/output_rgb" then it doesnt work.

black is still grey.

i do this:

echo 1 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/output_rgb

but black is still grey.

Is it true that rgb output works again with 8.90 ?

If yes, what must i do to enable it.

When i playback media files x264/x265 (720p and 1080p) it often crashes and also often after the reboot i have a crippled screen like this, another reboot fixes it.

Also after one Crash Display Output was set to 720p@60hz.

1.0.6 on Nexbox a95x (s905x, 2g/16g) Output set to 1920x1080@50fps with "sync playback to display".
