Which dtb.img Version are You using now ?
I have no idea. It is the dtb image file that comes with the LibreELEC-S912.arm-8.2-8.2.2.2.img.gz download.

Finally success!
I read the post of another member of this forum who owns a very recent release of the Beelink GT1 Ultimate
who was having the same problem as myself.
He found that he could boot LibreELEC using the LibreELEC-S912.arm-8.2-8.2.2.2.img.gz file and not changing the dtb.img.
I tried this and LibreELEC booted.
Nice to know for new buyers of the Beelink GT1 Ultimate!
Thanks for the responses. ]
I tried booting LE after deleting dtb.img and got the same result as before.
I have checked the specifications of the CPU as described on the label attached to the black card box which the device came in.
It says CPU Amlogic S912 Octa Core ARM Cortex A53. However, I have not pulled the device apart to actually check the CPU that is installed.
I own both the Beelink GT1 1GB DDR 16 GB drive and the Beelink GT1 Ultimate with 3GB DDR and 36GB drive.
I have been able to install LibreELEC on the first Beelink GT1 but not on the ULTIMATE version of the box.
I used LibreELEC-912.arm-8.2-8.2.2.2.img.gz and have tried the device tree files gxm_q200_3g.dtb ,gxm_q201_3g.dtb, q200_2g.dtb and q200_2g.dtb without any success.
I started the box using the normal toothpick method and all I get is the Beelink Android symbol on the start up screen and nothing happens after that.
I also tried booting into Android 7.1 and installing a Terminal Emulator and used the command 'reboot update' with the micro SD card installed with no success.
I used the program LibreELEC.USB-SD.Creator.Win32 to flash the class 10 micro SD card.
Having had no problems with the earlier Beelink GT1 box I cannot understand why I am having no success with the later box.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks
I tried reformatting the faulty drive and running chkdsk.exe but it is still not detected by LibreElec. It will be consigned to the rubbish bin.
Thanks for all the help.
Thanks chewitt for the additional information which I will try with the faulty drive. In the mean time I bought a new 8GB drive to see if it made a difference and as predicted in the above posts the drive was detected and I was able to play the movies I had put on the drive. I do remember being advised a long time ago that when you are looking for a fault, look for the simple things first before the complicated possible causes.
Thanks for all the responses. I will follow the advice given and report back in due course.
Thanks Jocke.Sve for your response.
The US key mentioned is eight GB and is formatted in NTFS. I tried another USB of one GB formatted in the fat format and copied a movie onto it and it worked perfectly.
Now I am really confused. Am I limited to the fat file system and a maximum of four GB?
I just bought a sixteen GB micro SD card thinking I could use it in one of the boxes for storage.
I have Kodi 17.4 on two LibreElec TV boxes. One box is based on an Amlogic 912 cpu and is booted from a microSD card and the other is based on an Amlogic S905X and is booted from the internal memory. Neither box will detect my USB drive when it is plugged in which contains a number of mp4 videos I want to watch.
I also have Kodi 17.4 installed on my PC and the same USB key is detected and the videos can be played using Kodi's player. I also have another TV box with Android 6 installed and it detects the USB key but cannot read the MP4 files.
Could some member please enlighten me as to what I need to do to use the boxes to watch the videos.
Thanks
