Is anybody having errors using the "Library Auto updater" Addon ?
I have two Beelink Mini MXIII II boxes that gives me errors when I install it.
The auto update doesn't work and I get errors when I try to do a manual update.
Bossman74 For stable LE you can try my 8.2.1.1 build. Then 9.0 when it's beta or final.
I'm using your version on my boxes, but wondering if I should start him on 9.0. He's not too good at fiddling with theses things (as if I am...) and I like that it would update automatically for him.
But your way makes more sense.
My buddy has a "Globmall X1" box with a S905X and a RTL8723 wifi chip that he got on Amazon along with a wireless mini keyboard.
He hears me praising LibreElec and wants to try i too, do you guys think I could burn this version to a microsd card and make him "see the light" ?
I know this version is "experimental", but will it keep being auto updated until it's fully stable ?
Do you want Netflix to play in HD?
I do, but is there other benefits? The interface looks the same, is the performance better overall?
I'm' running kszaq's LE 8.2.0.1 on my Beelink Mini MXIII II, is there a real advantage to upgrade to this version, or should I wait ?<
Thanks !

and fyi i wont be helping anyone that didnt read the thread and asks for solutions like those of remote not working.
You found it edit post and report it so next one will get it.
So since this is now a self help thread, here's some help for other MXIII-G (2GB+16GB) box owners, this will save you from reading all 56 previous pages...
If you're already running LibreELEC, the file you need to update is LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2b-MXIII-PLUS.tar put that *.tar file in your \update folder then reboot your box.
After the update, your IR remote will probably not work anymore, if that's the case, download this file remote.conf - Google Drive and put it in your \Configfiles folder and reboot again.
It solved my issues, and I hope it does for you as well.
Thanks to nikosgrgr for posting the remote.conf file (on page 23 by the way) and thanks to Demetris for his hard work. Be sure to read the OP if you do not want to get berated...
Read this post and you will find the answer.
You have too put some files on your card.
Succes
Do you mind telling me which file? And why put in on a card, I've installed LibreELEC to the internal memory a while ago.?
I've updated my MXIII-G (2GB+16GB) that was running libreELEC 7.xx by putting the LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.0.2b-MXIII-1G.tar file in my update folder.
After the update, my IR remote doesn't work anymore, and I have to plug a USB mouse to control the box.
Did I choose the wrong file? Is there something in the setttings that I need to change ?
Thanks I'll try that after work !
So I did it last night, had to do it twice because of the mentionned error but now I'm all set.
Thanks 9800pro !

Simpler than:
Download putty on pc
Open it and enter players ip adress
Login with root/libreelec
Enter installtointernal
Enter yes
FinishedDon't think so...[emoji6]
sent from my LG G2
Thanks I'll try that after work !
I've been running from an SD card for a while and I'm ready for install it to the internal memory.
I've read the install procedure with SSH commands, but don't know where to begin, is there a good tutorial on SSH commands somewhere ?
Or is there a simpler way for a noob like me to copy my SD card installation to the internal memory of my box (Beelink Mini MXIII II) ?
Thanks for the help !
Hi Bossman!Everything is explained in the post you mentioned. Which informations don't you find in the post or do you need additionally?
I wasn't sure if it was the same in OpenELEC and LibreELEC...
Also what is "sqlite" ? Sorry if this is all obvious for you guys, but I'm newbie in this kind of stuff.
Is this solutiion still needed with the version of KODI we're using, I don't want to mess it up for nothing?
I have some buffering issues with files larger than 6gb. Would manually mounting my NFS source help to fix that like mentionned here http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?...855#pid1953855 ?
Can someone tell me how I could do that on LibreELEC, or point me to a "how-to" ?
This should work. But the 8.0 alpha version is more buggy than the 7.0er. If you prefer more stableness, you should wait with the change to 8.0.
I'll hold off then, when do you guys think the change will be done?
Can I update my S802-H with the "LibreELEC-S802.S82.arm-8.0-alpha" file?
Can I just put the .tar file in the update folder or should I start from zero ?
My bad! I told him that he can also use .zip.
Alright, copying the .tar file worked, the update ran without any issues. Thanks kszaq.
Thank you Drieschel, for modifying boot up part to remove the scrolling text, I think it looks way better this way.
Now I only need to backup my LibreELEC, flash it back to stock to get the TRONSMART logo instead of finless' rom logo when the machines powers up. And reinstall LibreELEC to make it awesome again
Thanks for your help guys!
You should put tar or img.gz file in update folder and not zip.
Thanks, I've just put the .tar in the folder and when I get home I'll reboot the little bastard.
I'll update you guys after.
