    Hi all,
Since the last few versions of coreelec my onboard wifi basically sucks. Lucky to get 1Mb/s.

I have a USB WIFI adapter which i have put in. The thing is depending on the way it boots its sometimes wlan 0 and sometimes its wlan 1

According to running this command this is the drivers

    CoreELECx96Air:~ # readlink /sys/class/net/wlan1/device/driver

    ../../../../../../../bus/sdio/drivers/rtl88x2cs

    CoreELECx96Air:~ # readlink /sys/class/net/wlan0/device/driver

    ../../../../../../../../bus/usb/drivers/8812au

So i added this to my blacklist.conf

    blacklist rtl88x2cs

Rebooted and still both are showing up

    here is my dmesg

    http://ix.io/4FTz

    My Lsmod is shown

    Can anyone assist?

And again, read some earlier posts and you'll find that nobody expects remote.conf to work on 8.90.5. (and what the fix is)

The info is there for you.

Incidentally, since you can't brick the device whilst running from an SD card, why not just try the different dtb's (for the build your using). You've nothing to lose.

Like i originally said using the tar file in the .update folder left it stuck at LE Logo (no libreelec 8.90.5 community as per usual in the top LHS of the screen) no matter what dtb file i use.

Used an new image, restored a backup and removed the remote.conf file and now working.

I was as kazaq's last 8.2 build and updated using the .tar file. via the .update directory.

Now when i boot up it gets stuck on the libreelec logo and doesnt go any further.

Which dtb image is for mecool M8s Pro +?

i was using the one that wrxtasy has on the previous build.

Is it the kernel thats the issue?

Can i use an earlier one?

    OK.. Update...

I have replaced the Mini USB cord between the PC and the playTV and so far had a stream going for the past few hours which is awesome!
I am howevergetting a few continuity errors

    Is this normal?

    Hi there,

I seem to be having an issue when watching live TV.

the stream is OK then all of a sudden you will get the buffering which stays at 0 and doesnt go any further.

Stopping the stream and restarting the channel fixes it but then after a while the same thing happens.

I have run a debig on the TVheadend server and it looks like the issue is as

Im running Generic build 8.2.1 on a HP probook 6550b (i5 4g ram 320G HDD)

I moved to a differnt USB port and although less freqent it still occurs.

    Any other suggestions?
