I like to manage configuration of my LE11 remote from my desktop. Is it possible to use LibreELEC-Generic-legacy.x86_64-11.0.6 with X11 and add the TigerVNC addon? Is it actuall ??

Filesystem of storage partition is definitely not ro, I use Generic on Intel and can ssh into the system and edit and save anything fine.

Inbetween I done a softreset and start to build up the configurations from backup. And I have upgraded to 12 beta, LE is working basically and ..... again "Failed to start pulseaudio.service."

I understand that pulsaudio is only needed for Bluetooth and I donot need that. Is there way do completely disable that service ?

After some experiments in configuration I realize that pulseaudio.service fails to start at boot. That holds some other services from starting and my LE11 installation is nearly useless. I checked everything and of course the /strorage/.config is writeable (777)....

I have no idea what is going wrong and I am sure that I did not change anything related to the start up sequence and not to pulseaudio.

Anybody any idea ?

I have upgraded to the LE11 Generic-x86_64 version, all addons are updated and running well. But wen I try to connect from my desktop to the LE with TigerVNC running, I get the message "Computer refused connection". Is VNC not possible anymore to the new graphic stack ? Any other solution for remote desktop connection ?

Hm, I try to find out about if dependencies of the service is installed:

On the text start screen it says waiting for network and after that next row failed to start docker.linuxserver.mariadb.

So dependencies are ok, something goes wrong....

ok., updater seems do be satisfied after few updates and I managed to install and start using SQL-container as Kodi database.

The only thing left currently is that LE does not start docker and sql container before starting Kodi, so media info displays are always empty. When I wait until message tells "docker started sql" and then "systemctl restarts Kodi" everything is well ;-). (Of course I activated wait for network with 30sec.....)

How can we improve like LE9 did ?

yes, I described it wrong, the repo came not from zip but from the LE repo...

are the docker.linuxserver.nn : repo and wrapper-addons ready for LE 10 ? The repo zip-file comes with a 9.xx number but installs. When installing from there portioner as the 1st container it fails with dependency could not be resolved.

Anybody know the status or was successful already ?

Well, I installed the container updater first and then could install the portioner container. But now the updater all 5 minutes kills, updates and starts the portioner container. So seams not to be usable ?

Thanks to you @mglea, you were absolutely right and the problems was between my ears

This was caused from using the (wonderful) backup and restore feature of Libreelec, that helped restoring the LE on the new board within minutes, but brought back few things that are not needed here !

I checked and there is no Bluetooth present or configure from the user side.

The real problem I see ist still the question : Why does LE forget my setting and witching to another audio output, to some HDMI, that is not present, while at HDMI #0 the correct AVR "Marantz" is detected and shows the screen correctly ...?

Anybody can help me?

Hi,

I am using LE 8.90.007 on a new J4105-itx. Whenever I start LE the audio output is set to HDMI #2 and I have to change it manually to #0, where the options show HDMI #0 connected to my Marantz AVR.

I have read a lot about the edid thing but I don't think it is the reason here. The problem occurs always ! Regardless if AVR and TV are on or off. I have also switched to "fixed" on Output Configuration, doesn't help.

What makes LE forget my selection?
