All I can say is that I (long ago) used EDID spoofing for a very old Anthem unit to my Sony and it was a PITA.

I have found Pannys to be solid, but as copy protection continues to be a mixed bag implementation, we experience these incompatabilities.

For example my Dell ChromeBoxes work perfect with my Panny plasma TVs, the same Dell ChromeBox has overscan issues with my 50KU6290 and my 65MU6300.

My ASUS M004 works the same.

My Haswell NUCs work with all of the TVs without the overscan issues. Supposedly the same processor and video chipsets.

All running LibreElec current version 8.2.3

Been doing this a very long time back to front projection Sony's...lol

There are identical problems that I have encountered with some of the newer Samsung TVs. We tried a 65MU6300 and no matter what there was no way to get it to display the video. Took a Haswell NUC and worked fine.

Put the ChromeBox on a 50KU6290 and it worked fine.

All my Panny's work fine so it is a particular line/generation of Samsungs that are having the EDID issue.

So either get an EDID spoofing device or get a different TV.
