Well I guess I found something in your Xorg log:
Code[ 27.239] (II) LoadModule: "glx" [ 27.240] (II) Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so [ 27.247] (EE) LoadModule: Module glx does not have a glxModuleData data object. [ 27.247] (EE) Failed to load module "glx" (invalid module, 0) [ 27.247] (II) LoadModule: "nvidia"
Seems Xserver fails to load libglx which is obviously mandatory and probably the reason why RA crashs. You use a similar card? VGA Bios Collection: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6144 MB | TechPowerUp just to make sure the card is correct detected.
Yes 1060 founders edition
Can you enter this in a terminal & post the output:
Codereadlink -f /var/lib/libglx.so readlink -f /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so ls -la /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so ls -la /var/lib/libglx.so
CodeLibreELEC (5schatten): RR-201846-b814ac8 (Generic.x86_64) LibreELECPC:~ # readlink -f /var/lib/libglx.so /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx_nvidia.so LibreELECPC:~ # readlink -f /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx_nvidia.so LibreELECPC:~ # ls -la /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 Nov 16 13:17 /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so -> /var/lib/libglx.so LibreELECPC:~ # ls -la /var/lib/libglx.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 49 Nov 17 2018 /var/lib/libglx.so -> /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx_nvidia.so
I've talked to the LE devs since I guess this is an upstream related thing. The legacy driver works fine though so maybe driver 410.x is screwed up.
Can you downgrade to Beta12 & upload the Xorg log to check if the glx module loads fine in this build?
How can I do that? put the beta12 gz in the update folder like a classic update?
This is the output of aplay -l but you have to enter aplay -L anyway I'm currently working on some function that sets asound.conf device according to your Kodi output device.
Makes sense & I thought about this too, just GB is probably something most people won't use anyway but I'll split it in the next build.

I have exactly the same problem on both amd cards, R7 260 and R9 270x with libreelec reborn remix build, I uploaded logs here:
I don't have access to these cards at the time so I can't do other tests.
It seems AMD HDMI drivers are buggy

Try to delete retroarch.cfg looks like RA tries to use SDL_GL als video driver. Btw. you have the same error even with a nokms file? Because if I start retroarch without kms it's not mentioned anywhere in the log file.
This guy had exactly the same problem & creating a nokms file should have solved it.
LE8 "Remix" (Generic/RPi) Emulationstation/Chrome/Spotify (read the first post before posting)
I deleted retroatch.cfg, updated to beta 15 and retroarch is still crashing right away when I try to start it from kodi on my PC with nvidia 1060
and I have a question what I need to put exactly in asound.conf for this card:
card 0: NVidia [HDA NVidia], device 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

Hi I just tried le9rr on nvidia card, retroarch is not working at all with and without nokms file (same error log here for both)

Well I've tried to run Pilotwings64 on my generic system and I had no glitches with mupen64plus only with ParaLLEL-64 so what was your test system that had these black triangle bug? Generic builds come with both n64 emulators & ARM stuff mupen64plus only. If you prefer mupen64plus just update es_systems.cfg according to your needs.
About m64p it is just a "buildsystem" or better call it a quite hacky script that glues the plugins together. To build them I would have to patch every single plugin to make it work because of stupid Makefile configs
And in the end it would only run on systems with QT so generic builds. All in all it doesn't make much sense to me. But let's see if I can grab the important stuff from this script
mupen64plus-GLideN64/build.sh at master · m64p/mupen64plus-GLideN64 · GitHub
EDIT:
After several hours of fishing in murky waters...
mupen64plus: initial package git version 3d4288b · 5schatten/LibreELEC.tv@cbc562f · GitHub
I think I tried Pilotwings with mupen64plus libretro core on an AMD GPU.
Thanks for your custom mupen64plus build, I'll try it!

loganmc10 responded here:
I tried the mupen64 libretro core yesterday : first test Pilotwings 64 with the deltaplane, after 3s a big black triangle covered half the screen under the deltaplane. End of tests
I tried m64p on Windows, graphics of Pilotwings 64 are flawless, no bug.
I really think m64p could be a nice addition to your build, if it's not too hard to do.

Ah don't worry, I'll wait!
-
So this feature will be added in next libreelec beta image?

I understand that kodi settings have nothing to do with ES or RA, it was just to illustrate that the sound problem also happens here. I use default drivers and default settings for them in RA.
It's probably a driver problem on AMD side yes :s
I'll post the logs later or tomorrow thanks!
EDIT: it's definitively the same issue as this one, with also a bonaire gen GPU:
Audio issue using HDMI - Lakka - Libretro Forums
I think I'll wait for kernel 5.0 and test again, we can't do anything for now

In your logfiles emulationstation.conf tells me:
lvl0: AudioManager Error - Unable to open SDL audio: ALSA: Couldn't open audio device: Device or resource busy
So I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with you asound.conf because otherwise the audio device should not be busy. And if this device is busy you'll have no sound in any emulator or frontend. So double check if your device in asound.conf is correct.
Which device have you selected in Kodi? And which in the asound.conf?
Same error if you chose Vulkan as renderer?
I use HDMI dev 0 in kodi and asound.conf, sound is working everywhere, just bad, strangely only emulationstation is working fine (ivdeo preview) sound is perfect there...
I recorded the sound using my phone:
0:00 to 0:17 kodi
from 0:19 to 0:27 emulationstation (video preview, good sound)
after that retroarch
Concerning Dolphin I can't change video settings because the window setting is too tall for the displayed ui... I think I'll give up for now
