Hello good,

I have version 11.0.4 "generic" on a Lenovo M710q with the following wifi hardware:

• Wifi --> Intel Wireless 3165 (rev 79)

The problem is when connecting to the Wi-Fi that it almost never connects and I have to restart the system several times until it detects the Wi-Fi and connects. I have also tried, within the network configuration, to disable Wi-Fi and turn it back on to see if it detects Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work. I have also tried to modify the time it takes libreelec to start until it connects to the Wi-Fi (30 seconds) but it doesn't work either.

With version 11.0.3 I did not have this issue and libreelec connected automatically and on the first try.

I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but as I say, in the previous version, this problem did not exist, it all started with the latest version (11.0.4).

Where is the problem?

PD: I have tried to put a log of the libreelec startup, but when I restarted the system, as it could not be otherwise, it connected to the Wi-Fi the first time

PD: Now I see this message on start the system "Failed to start iwf.service" and not have wifi

Is a old, old, old firmware zd1211. This is the possibility because new version delete and is possible that in new versions of LE delete the zd1211 for this.

Is necessary to change my usb wifi not for know but yes for the future of LE.

Recomended anything?

Extract the file attach ( zd1211.zip ) in and /storage/.config/firmware and reboot the system.

Next, when connect ( in my case ) the usb wifi, validate that the firmware is load ( dmesg ).

In my case work perfect.

I thinking, that the new version lost firmware for zd1211.

I have libreelec in a norma PC. Using Generic X86_64.

Yesterday with wifi update the version 8.0.2 to version 8.1.0 in Libreelec and finally with the las reboot lost the connection wifi. No see anything in libreelec > connections when 5 minutes before I update.

In the night I speak with sopparus in IRC and say thats impossible to lost wifi connect and cable connection. I say this. Now the cable connection its fail me. I dissable this option.

Now with ssh acces to libreelec with cable

This is the "dmesg" that I see when connect usb wifi

I thinking that new version of libreelec lost firmware of this usb, because in version 8.0.2 working all ( I update 8.0.2 to 8.1.0 with wifi ).

Any idea to solution this problem??
