I could have checked out the wrong version and just followed the wiki (7.0.2).
I'll start over and make sure I do 8.0.2 and go from there and report back.
thanks

Kodi 17.3
Libreelec 8.0.2
so far, I haven't removed the existing addon, only tried to install on top of it.
thanks for that - I got it compiled and tried to install the .zip file created (pvr.mythtv-5.2.0.2.zip) and Kodi errored with 'The dependency on kodi.binary.global.gui version 5.11.0 could not be satisfied.'
The skin I'm using is Esturary, should I change the skin or take this over to the dev of the addon (Janbar)?
thanks
do I need to be inside a certain folder when I do this first?
Edit: found out I need to be in my ~/L<ibreELEC.tv folder to run this.
Question: is this going to download the latest version of pvr.mythtv from git?
hardware: Intel NUC
build env: (Ubuntu 16.04)
Kodi 17.3
Libreelec 8.0.2
Hi,
I'm new to building from source and I'm trying to build the latest pvr.mythtv from source for Libreelec since I can't seem to find any compiled binaries of the latest build.
I've followed the wiki on how to create a LibreElec build environment Compile - LibreELEC.
Now I'm stuck on how to continue building the add-on.
I have a folder named 'http://LibreELEC.tv/build.libreelec-generic.x86_64-9.0-dev/' and I'm wondering where I should do my git clone command like 'git clone --branch=Krypton https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.mythtv.git'
Can anyone help shed some light on what my next step is? If I've left out any info then please ask and I'll do my best to answer.
thanks
