If there was tvheadend server for Android I wouldn't need someone to work hard on libreelec for me. Since users don't know the efforts spent on this project, it's easy to say "libreelec is awesome, keep it going"

I'm using my box as tvheadend server and I'm watching live TV on Android phone, windows PC. I've never had playing issues.

Why are non developers pouring more gasoline on this discussion?

How difficult is porting tvheadend server to Android?
I guess the code has to be compiled with android ndk and a custom kernel with dvb modules too?

Yesterday my KII Pro's remote controller started acting weird.
I thought the problem was this build but I got the same behavior in android too.
Checked the remote's batteries, they were fine.
Coincidently found the problem, it was my door light
It looks like my lamp began dying and its light color has changed.
This slight color change was affecting my TV box's IR receiver, unbelievable

To summarize everything into one post:

1) fd628 systemd unit cannot start /usr/sbin/fd628 (even manually over SSH I cannot open this file)

2) /sys/class/leds/fd628_dev/ lots of files here, only led_light works 1-7

3) /dev/fd628 - doing something to this *file* turns off LCD until reboot.

4) i can see module loaded but not used by anything in "lsmod"

5) theres a seperate thread here more or less just about this LCD and we are all leaving them behind.

Thats it.

I suggest you to post a job at freelance websites like upwork.com , freelancer.com and hire an embedded linux developer.
After seeing the amount of money they will demand from you, you'll change your attitude here.
PS: Be careful about those cheap "developers" from India...

You always forget the fact that developers don't get paid for volunteer projects.

Do you really think a couple bucks donations are enough for their work?

Do you have any idea how much an Embedded Linux developer' salary is?

They spend hundreds (may be thousands) hours to bring something to us.

But getting comments like yours make them think twice about their work.

GDPR-2  afl1 I know that it's not a bug, it's a feature

I can fix this by setting display resolution to 1920x1080 but display resolution randomly goes back to 1280x720 by itself.
